U mean Gundam X > GW?

Personally I prefer GW than GX... GX's pacing is horrible and it makes me feel like I'm watching a power ranger cartoon, since each ep has a single baddie which gets kicked in the same ep (except for those annoying twins). And the main baddie Federation only gets established in the final few eps... meaning it kinda wasted the previous 30+ eps...

But still, there are some good points too. It seems that Gundam X was the one that got kicked the most among all UC main mechas (although it also had plot armor).

in term of mech design, i think X/XX is better than Wing.

yes,the pacing is a bit slow.But the show gets better and better in the later episodes,especially when the new federation is established and when garrod goes to space.Its sad they wasted so many episodes in the front,but the show got cancelled halfway.





The plot armor isnt as ridiculous as GW.No gundams emerged scratchless or shiny after some epic battle.The enemy mechas isnt pilotted by a retarded negative IQ dumbass pilots,which doesnt know how to dodge or aim a crap at all.The enemy mechas actually takes some beating,compared to those in GW where one shot one asploxion.God lord,the Leos looks llike they are rigged with explosive,if the paintjob is slightly scratched off,it will ASPLODE!

DX + Twin Satellite cannon

HeavyArms + Gatling
Leopard + Gatling with wheelies

Virsago = (Epyon - Transformation - Giant Beam Sword) + Bigass chest cannon

I prefer GW's mecha coz they are more interesting... You could say stereotype too ... Shenlong = China = Dragonhead + Glaive... Sandrock = Arab = Scimitars
But preferences for designs are indeed personal and subjective.

That's why I said it wasted the previous 30+ episodes.

But I agree on the part where the enemies are much more smarter. AU's grunts are often cannon fodder, but those monoeyes in GX actually kicked GX quite a number of times. GW's grunts do have their glorious moments, like how they thrashed Deathscythe and Shenlong in space.

Speaking of Grunts... I still think television headed Leos, television+helmet Aries, and television+ icecream cone Taurus are very well designed. They are not sleek, but boxy and heavy looking, much more like military machines than the fanciful gundams. The choppers in Victory are nice too... ugly but adorable.

And plot armor does exist in both GW and GX... Heero should have been chopped to pieces by Zechs in Antartica when he furiously slashed Heavyarms' torso with beam sabres. Trowa was still in one piece when half of Bayette's cockpit was blasted to smithereens. GX was chopped in the same manner like Heero, and shot in the chest numerous times by the twins. And we'll never forget CE's plot-cheatcodes

Conclusion?
Plot Armor > Conventional armor, Beams, bullets, explosions

It apparently Durandal manage to got some insider info from EFF. Similar how does Rau La Cruze got info about cyclops.

Just watched Char's Counterattack this afternoon... SUPERB... The battles were absoultely stunning, making CE's look elementary school. And the animation was greatly improved from Zeta's retro look.

Loved the pacing of the story, even at times it seem a bit slow. The characters were rather well elaborated and developed, although I don't know what the fuss is about the cyan haired lass, Quess. OK, she's a newtype, and a very good one, but having two hotblooded teenage boys going gaga all over her along with babysitter Char is a bit farfetched. Especially when the hotblooded teens are ready to kick their own comrads' butt for the girl.

DUH. It's a bloody war out there and you're fighting over a girl? Grow up.

The duel btw Sazabi and Nu was one of the better duels I've seen lately, it's up there along with Providence + Freedom, TallGeese + Heavyarms, Druggies + Freedom/Justice. But having two heavy machines boxing each other like kids was indeed more exciting than shooting at each other (and missing as in other series).

CCA... Top notch... only to be spoiled by the abrupt ending. Why do Gundams anime always get messed by loose endings?

One question though: Who is Lalah Sune and why the heck does her appearance mess up Amuro and Char?? Didn't watch MSG, hence the question.

long story short, she's Char's protege n in love with amuro. Amuro killed her(she jumped into the middle of the fight to save char) instead when he wanna kill char

the apocalypse series is some sort of sequel to IGLOO.
IGLOO was originally created as a short film to show in the bandai museum.But the fans wanted more,so sunrise decided to create another 3 more episodes.The Igloo series ended where the zeon forces has lost their odessa stronghold,and retreated to space.Apocalypse continued from there,to the battle of a baoa qu.

If you havent watch the original gundam series.Go download the Trilogy movies,it summarized the whole original storyline pretty well,unlike the new zeta gundam movie.

no i'm not complaining about igloo i think it's fine... i watched the 1st and 2nd ep and i felt that the battles were quite nicely done... z'gok riding on a plane haha...

CCA's ending was too abrupt... it's like they were talking halfway with all the green auroras around.. and suddenly put came the credits, very abrupt. But I enjoyed the whole movie, kept me in full attention throughout the show.

Amuro pushing Axis is super plot powah!!

Newtypes can do anything in UC... push a gigantic asteroid like Amuro did, or suck all fragments of the Angel Halo back into space when the crash was imminent in Victory... Hail Plot Powah!!
