Just finished watch ep1 of 00, still want to know how the back-pack of "fan" things give it the abilities to fly..
Not sure about the gundam name oredi, the Bulky gundam which appear lastly in the space station there, izzit it transfer the power from the body to its big cannon?

The bulky gundam name should be Virtue. The back-pack of fan thingie may have similar function like Tesla Drive in SRW. BTW, I think Exia may have cast-off mode, coz earlier in the ep, the face is similar to usual gundam face (have 2 lines at the mouth)

Sigh, another Gundam series.

One thing I dislike about Gundam anime is that a lot of things are certain facts in the gundam universe, at least the recent ones like Seed or Seed Destiny

1) Gundam are piloted by little boys/girls. Was there any explanation to why pubescent little kids are given the responsibility to pilot such weapons of mass destruction? At least with anime series' like Top wo Nerae 2 there were reasons. (Older people lose abilities to use 'Topless' powers.

2) Created with superior technology. And I'm not talking about 5~10 years ahead of everyone else, but more like hundreds of years difference. And the worst thing is, they don't explain HOW, WHO or any HISTORY behind any of the technology involved which bring me to my last point,

3) Only a Gundam can destroy a Gundam. This holds true for about 99% of all Gundam battles I've seen. It's like... sigh.. I give up trying to think...Just like this series, it takes no intelligence to enjoy it, but if you are like me, I'm constantly asking questions that this genre of series never seems to explain.
Let's hope this new one gets better.

Actually this only apply for most of Gundam series that was not set in UC (except for Gundam X). If you watch UC-based Gundam anime, you will find out that the Gundam sometimes barely survive against fighting with non-Gundam MS. And in V Gundam series, Shrike Team, which use Gundam on few last episodes are killed by non-Gundam MS.

In UC-based Gundam series, usually only one side owns Gundam-type MS (which explains why non-Gundam MS can kill or badly damaged a Gundam-type MS), while in non-UC series, usually both sides have their own Gundam-type MS
