QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Dec 9 2006, 07:48 PM) I liked 0080 for its simplicity. It's just a normal story involving a kid, not much action involved, and virtually no political debates or conflicting issues. However, it is the emotional aspect of the story that attracts me. I'm also like 0080 so much, too bad i didn't collect the anime. From the character Alfred, I see a lot of innocence that is in contrast with war. I like the way his character is portrayed, eg he thinks that whatever he does is "cool" and "mature", yet he never realises the naivety of his actions until the very end. It's similar to kids nowadays, who think that they are mature enough to do anything they want when in reality they are still a bunch of children who has never seen the real society before. I do agree that the plot would be better had Bernie and Christina found out their true identities. There is a budding romance between the both of them which was never fully developed (due to the short OVA). I thought it was a good idea not to include newtypes in the story. Newtypes tend to behave like Jedis, trusting their instincts at all times (which normally proves to be correct if they are the protagonists). However it is good to see oldtypes struggling with internal conflicts eg Bernie at the very end. To be honest, I enjoyed 0080 because I didn't have much expectations for it. Although it would be better had there been more action scenes. I didn't see Alex's beam SMG in action, and the Kampfer simply got pwned too easily. That's a horribly choreographed duel. Even the Alex vs Zaku was better, at least we see heat axe chop chop action. New CE.... allow me to use a harsh word... KIRA CAN GO FK OFF !! First become EA... then become Orb Renegade... now become ZAFT... next go cabar God and rule the universe.... WTF? I'm a UC fans, anyway....C.E. can go eat sh*t, all they ever do in the seed series is steal....bad bad education for kids |

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Dec 10 2006, 11:45 AM) Indeed. Christina figurines will be so much more hot than stupid GSD figurines.. How many Lacus models have they released already? Oh well, if she can manipulate the writers to make everyone except her boyfriend crap, I guess she is influential... Christina redhead for the WIN !! Kira Tomato.... Go F.O... oh, here's goes the Christina figure ![]() |

My whole time favourite will be The 08th MS Team, really enjoyed to watched it, but too short..
I actually much loved those Gundam takes place on some more reality world..i mean not too much of advanced technologies & i liked those that just had a Boost Pack, not like those Wing of Freedom which can fly whenever they want on earth others than that will be 0080,0083, & F91, Oh & then recently years of MS Igloo.. yeah, i loved ZEON so much... |

QUOTE(young_soul @ Dec 19 2006, 04:35 PM) this is very very true...lots of re-used battle scenes...etc. I mean except the battle between Impulse and Freedom, the rest of the show was rubbish. agree ! with so advance technology skill, they still lazy to make a more interesting battle...all just re-used...worthless piece of art. |

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Jan 21 2007, 12:04 PM) Seriously, the giant-backpack obsession of CE has gotta stop ya....looks like a robotic school boy wearing a bag go to school ![]() Rosso Aegis still looks decent, and I actually prefer the smaller side waist armors compared to the old petal-like ones. But damn them for removing the sexy spiked feet !! Nero Blitz... ah... burn in hell... what happened to sleekness? stop designing ketam pincers in every CE gundam... Testament's crab claw already looked like crap, and now Nero Blitz have two of them at the back. Somebody please... save CE designs... |

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Mar 22 2007, 11:58 AM) the F117 wings can be turned towards the front, getting in between the arms and the legs, so you get 6 claws instead of the usual 4 of the old Aegis... wahaha...the CS is funny, but is feel stupid when they mod the Wing & Seed Gundam inside.Rectangle things? No idea... it seems that the schoolbag can be dismantled into some sort of giant claw like the Testament's though, meh... what is with the claw obsession? It's just too Super Robot like, the next thing we'll get is probably a Strike Pack with giant sized drills... It's not that I don't like the Hazel, but I just don't think it's appealing enough for me as the other chunky ones do, especially the super sexy MKII. Maybe it's too "squarish", esp the big vents on the legs But true enough chunky MSes are sexy in some ways, especially The O... tiny arms that grab your crotch or slash them with beam sabres... That's EVIL... Meanwhile, this makes me want to play CS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYob_fnh3_k |
