Dear all,

A friend of mine has received the Ambank CC statement with "Previous Outstanding Balance" different from the last month's "Total Outstanding Balance". May I know where can we lodge a dispute or complaint?

Spending rm50k without cash rebate? Not a good deal to me haha

if you are referring to Maybank VS, cash rebate is available for Groceries and Petrol.
not sure why 'no rebate' was stated.

According to AmBank CS online transaction (specifically ask online transaction for flight ticket) for flight ticket also entitle.

I will assume other online transactions also can. laugh.gif

I have a car loan with AmBank since 2 years ago, when I just started paying loan, one fine day I received a credit card from them.

Since it has no benefits for me, I asked to terminate it immediately.

Now I'm interested in applying its other cards, will I still be considered as its new customer? Just wanna try luck for RM 650 cash back.

On another thought.... I saw people posting about their horrible experience with AmBank...

From the T&C...

2. This Programme is open to all new customers who apply for an AmBank / AmBank Islamic Credit
Card (i.e. Visa Infinite, World MasterCard, Visa Signature, Platinum, Gold, CARz, TRUE and
AmBank Cosway only)
for the first time during this programme period.
3. The Programme is only applicable to all New-To-Bank AmBank / AmBank Islamic Cardmembers
(New Cardmembers). Cards cancelled less than six (6) months and/or reapplied during the
Programme Period
will not be considered as New-To-Bank customers.

Did not mention anything related to loan. So i think you are NEW TO BANK wink.gif

Sorry if my post wasn't clear, it was because of the credit card that came together with the loan though I asked for termination eventually...

Apply the card and supp card, get the cashback and then if AMbank service is really horrible, cancel the cards smile.gif

Well, the horrible experience if for the application. smile.gif
Anyway, I'm not used to go through agents, I guess I will stick to fax then. It's a pain to walk in to their branches. laugh.gif

Agree with kremlin view. More than 6 months should consider New Customers.
