how do you summon knights?
*
only certain area you can summon the knight if i'm not mistaken.
when you're in human form, you'll see the summon sign usually before the boss fight.

finally killed the god damn mother f*cking bridge Red Wyvern last night, after got burnt to crisp multiple time by his fire attack

SL22 now... where do you guys usually get a suit of good armor? kinda hesitant to spend the titanite to upgrade the normal armor hmm.gif

still using the drake sword... can't find any dragon scale to upgrade it doh.gif

well there is this thing i can say about armor, not all piece of a set is best sometimes the set you like have bad gloves so you might be best with mix set, low lvl sets can upgrade to +10 which sometimes over power sets which you get later in the game, thats bcoz they could only upgrade to +5/ cant upgrade at all.

you can get drake scale from chest or killing dragons or joining dragon covenant could also help you in getting some.

you have to move forward from using drakesword later because it doesnt scale with your stats

choose your weapon based on the attack style they give that suits you, example drake sword is good in open area, but when it goes to narrow hallways its bad... light weapons you can use shield to block & attack at the sametime, you should take time try out all the weapon types, the attack style changes on atk1 & atk2, 2hand holding atk1 & atk2 aswell & run attack, roll attack too

finally finished main quest after 4 days of hardwork...if not for the speed run guide(he finished dark souls in
less than 90 minutes!) i might had give up on this game, an open world rpg without maps, quest log or
quest objective indicator, really is for hardcore gamer. i salute for those who completed this without using guide/walkthrough.

it will take alot time to finish this game without even a hint from guide. too many thing is 1 time go as in limited in 1 playthrough only, buying strategy guide for this game is far more worth it than buying it for other games

Except that the guide book was nerfed in the last patch in which they rebalanced quite a lot of the game. The hardcover guide book does look awesome though.

well... this is game is addictive in a way that you'll never know what's lurking in the corner that can kill you instantly

boss are REAL boss, which you can hardly beat with first attempt without looking at the walkthrough tongue.gif

btw, where can you see how many hours you've played?

Just noticed, but you need to play up to anor londo in NG++ in order to get the rare weapons and miracles achievements. NG+ and ++ is a very different experience.

When you start the game from xbox dashboard, the game will prompt you to select the saved game(s) you wish to load, there is where you can see the hours "invested".

I clocked 63 hours in the first save slot (incomplete playthrough, fooled around, killed NPCs)
Second save slot (currently NG+) about 60 hours. Almost complete NG+ now.

I don't think I will do a 3rd playthrough too. Not really bother about 1000/1000. Just keen to get the dark ending, plus no other games to play in Feb month.

other games new game+ make you feel play like a boss, but in dark souls new game+ is actually harder than
fresh new game.

just finish blighttown... quelag is a piece of cake when u summon the npc to assist... basically u can just watch the battle from afar with your hand crossed tongue.gif

anyway... just clocked 24 hour into the game, looking at the guide, still got loooong way to go doh.gif
the enemies are getting stronger, some having a hard time to defeat even at SL50 doh.gif my drake sword +2 is already feeling underpowered... time for some titanite harvest run sad.gif

actually dark souls its not that long...it become longer because we died many times, no checkpoint(the only checkpoint is bonfire),no quest
log, spent a lot of time on each regular enemy.....after watching the speedrun which completed dark souls in 90 minutes only,
i changed my gameplay and its less frustating since than. clocked 30 hours on first playthrough, 15 hours on second playthrough.
