just got my copy yesterday, and trial run for about 1/2 hour

i heard it's hard, knew it's hard, but never expect it to be THAT hard

first dead was by the asylum demon boss, was standing on the hedge on top of him thinking he can't get me, and the next thing you know I crashed down on the floor and I'm dead

next dead is on the hand of the 1st skeletons encounters by the graveyard
traditionally skeletons are wimps in any other games, so I gatal go challenge them, end up losing all my souls after 2nd dead while trying to touch my blood

this game is H A R D C O R E!!

just started the game seriously over the weekend
built a thief for his master key, later updated the stats become a warrior
the online wiki sure helps a lot, got my flask +2 by doing suicide run to grab those early firekeeper souls
just got my drake sword also

but also got me ass kick by first invasion, crap... dunno what that guy use, didn't see any movement but he knock me down even with with my shield up, and drained all my stamina
then while i was drinking from the flask, he backstabbed me, and I died

btw, those NPC you encountered in the games, do you kill them all?
I saw some hints asking me to back stab one of them, the one looking at the sun before the bridge drake.

now i see some of d so call hints left by other players r actually misguiding you.
saw one hint at a clift with 31 rating asking me to jump, n i actually jumped n killed myself.

Added on February 14, 2012, 8:28 ammanaged to kill the twin gargoyle single-handed last night after dying 4 times without knowing you can summon the sunray knight to assist you in the fight
rang the first bell
this game is getting more n more addictive than I expected, sucking more n more time from my sleep time
without knowing it, it's already 1:30AM last night when i check, was originally planned to play for 1 hour only at 11pm

btw... it has been a long long time since I had this satisfied feeling after beating a tough enemy

only certain area you can summon the knight if i'm not mistaken.
when you're in human form, you'll see the summon sign usually before the boss fight.


finally killed the god damn mother f*cking bridge Red Wyvern last night, after got burnt to crisp multiple time by his fire attack

SL22 now... where do you guys usually get a suit of good armor? kinda hesitant to spend the titanite to upgrade the normal armor

still using the drake sword... can't find any dragon scale to upgrade it

yeah... planning for my next weapon of choice now (drake sword replacement)
do u guys usually upgrade then ascend the normal weapons, or just upgrade the enchanted one?

killed another dragon mini boss last night, the zombie dragon
now my drake sword is +1

lucky for me it updated before i start the game last night

gonna try soul farming tonight at the darkroot garden

not even half way yet... just killed the stray demon last night after dying countless time losing my humanities & souls...

well... this is game is addictive in a way that you'll never know what's lurking in the corner that can kill you instantly

boss are REAL boss, which you can hardly beat with first attempt without looking at the walkthrough

btw, where can you see how many hours you've played?

just finish blighttown... quelag is a piece of cake when u summon the npc to assist... basically u can just watch the battle from afar with your hand crossed

anyway... just clocked 24 hour into the game, looking at the guide, still got loooong way to go
the enemies are getting stronger, some having a hard time to defeat even at SL50 my drake sword +2 is already feeling underpowered... time for some titanite harvest run

this was me last night after losing 150k souls to the cheap ass sniping black Knights at Anor Londo

original save compatible with the new prepare to die edition kah?

if yes, might consider to get the PTD edition

if not... there's no way I'm going to play thru all those crazy levels again
