I guess everybody is busy with their chainsaws and curb stomp that this great game goes unnoticed.
Dark Souls is building up a 90 score and sits in 2nd place just below Gears of War 3 in Metacritic.

maybe bcoz Demon Souls is PS3 exclusive..
so Dark Souls(successor of Demon Souls) get lesser attention with Xbox 360 gamer

This game is a masterpiece. Any rpg fan shouldn't miss this.

Actually Dark Souls is a PS3 exclusive in Japan but distributed by namco bandai for both 360 and PS3 in other regions. Release date was supposed to be Oct 4 here but I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive.

i played the demon souls for ps3, stop playing after 3 -6 deaths.

Yeah, it's not a game for everyone just like any other game

Yes, or invading other player's world. But everything is in the game whether it's offline/online

any person who likes to be abused by games shouldn't miss this.
This is the S&M of video games.

It's a great game if you like to discover things by yourself.

Granted some of DS mechanics are completely wtf by modern standards, the moment you defeat a boss (the ones that can 1-2hit kill you) is the most satisfying experience you can ever get from a game.


I will give it a try once it's cheaper. My Oct. purchases are already booked.

Kotaku stated that if you accept party chat while playing the game it will kick you back to dashboard, can anyone clarify this ?

lol, why does everyone keep saying it's mmorpg? It's not, it's an action rpg with co-op elements. You don't even need to be online to play this game if you want to.

just got my copy along with RAGE this afternoon =) dont have time to try yet lol
