yes u should have maintained iacvless... hahahahha...why cant u maintain it anyway?

68mm is fine i guess...coz i using cilpak skunk2 now anyway which cant o to 70 either
rochi has been building hondas for more than a decade...the brand hardrace's sepang 1000km eg6 race car was also built by him....theyve ben lotsa honda monsters

pricewise i dunno...not a customer.. but i do have a few of my friends whos sent his car to him....and they keep going back as repeat customers
maddriver is more to rally though.. and i have never seen a honda monster built by him. he has built other cars though.. and they do keep going back to him

icic so maddriver is rally background like ian, probably more into scooby's.

QUOTE(sadako-chan @ Jun 26 2012, 01:49 PM)
Well the reason i went iacvless previously was because the r intake i used had the iacv threads ruined,  so i ask people to weld it shut so no iacv

kinda useless anyway, since it doesn't do much duty other than prevent revs dropping too fast.  Since this intake got the port,  tried putting a b16a one in,  but too close to the hardline near proportioning valve. I'm currently looking for pics on how the hose and tb cable routing is supposed to be like

Rochi now doing k20a engine builds now,  including k20/24 frankensteins.

I don't think rochi is expensive.  Kinda depends what work you want done and time taken to do it.

He'll probably suggest you to swap to K20. In Malaysia, K20 swap is nearly same price as turbocharging it properly with brand new turbo, flanges and custom tubings and AN lines.
I'd go with K20/K24 swap for one simple reason. JPPEOAG technology. Just Put Petrol, Engine Oil And Go technology. No need to bother with overheating or cooking the turbo, turbo surge/spike, etc etc. Not to say turbo unreliable, but to make it reliable costs $$$

i was told its 64mm so i could be wrong. As for the tb different size, depends o. Where they measure. Some measure inlet opening, some measure butterfly plate, some measure outlet opening. Rebore sounds good, but the price of billet tbs making them less attractive unless for oem look. I went with 64mm rebore

must be a monster of an engine but the roadtax is a killer.
imho CTR is good enough, able to keep pace with many turbo's.
