Just for the sake of creating a new anime thread .. bwhahahaha.  Airs tomorrow. the heroine seems different although they have same name.
even the background seems a little different from what i remember.

Either way, I dont think it matters much, since the OVA didnt really explain much anyway. Just sit back and enjoy the series as though you've never heard of the OVA. |

Yeah. Even though Live-eviL is slow, but in terms of translation and video quality, it wins Bakakozou. Shinsen-Sub is quite good too, at least it is faster compared to Live-eviL. |

Shinsen, definitely, because they try to keep it to the context some curse words added in for effect. Speed is good too la.... Never ask how to do XDCC if they have a FAQ section because they'll give you hell for not being able to read...! I'll stick with BT... safer that way! |

it's the file inherent property tat make it sucky compared to avi, mkv ogm....but due to tat also, the file size is smaller....
using real alternative or real player itself dun make a difference in the quality la....and also, if u said u can fit 30 eps of anime in 1 cd....the file size must be damned small, and bitrate also low=sucky quality
go read up on wikipedia first before crapping on the comparison of quality la.....

i use rmvb as compromise for disk space, i know nothing about technical stuff, the observation is solely base on my own eyes and ears. avi simply used too much space, by rmvb, the visual and audio quality reduced not even 1/5 but the space used is only 1/2 compare to avi, heck, sometimes u won't even know the file is rmvb unless u open 2 same video and compare. don’t believe me? try compare a tv-rip avi and a dvd-rip rmvb with about half its size, u will know which 1 is better. if people say mkv is much better than rmvb i agree, but avi? with proper source and bit rate configuration, i will choose rmvb over avi anytime, i hav enough dvds piling up in my room, i make my choice, avi just not worth it.

by actual comparison, rmvb sucks quality wise compared to avi, but in return the file size is smaller...
it's still hanging around at 32 cos there's no new english fansub for the eps beyond, which i think reach 37-38 in jap di....
shinsen seems to be damn slow these days, while bakakozou is alwiz slow and steady....

I always thought that what Diva did to Riku was steal his image or form. But i never know she will get him to f*** her up and end up pregnant.
About Kai being a chevalier. I guess that was what everyone wishes for. Man, Saya should just make him the chevalier after their dad died. If you know what i meant, since both of them are their only family members left, why not make both of them immortal.
And about Amsheal making her pregnancy slow? What does that mean? I am currently following Shinsen-subs but i would never refuse spoilers. So spoil it for me please. Its a ok ending.. Just that the fight is too ez compare to the last time. Like do or die attack for Diva and Saya.. Remember last time they fight at Zoo.. Diva seems to overwhelming with speed and power and this time like no power one. Think Nelson is the strongest of all chevalier.. but... he ask Saya to kill him. wondering why haji left a blue rose for her? i was so hoping solomon would live! he's so cool! *luv luv luv* his ending was just lame. i mean he just got a little cut and he could have tore off part of his body to stay alive before saya's blood completely crystalize him. hmm...its also kindda lucky that james got "thorn" or "sone". timing too "cun" already.

I watched the whole thing already, the storyline is not bad but it's very slow moving (from the 1st episode till the last one). Might feel boring in certain parts as well but overall it's still quite enjoyable to watch it especially the ending part. |

i dun really recommend it. I find it's not worthy anime. plus if u wan to get, go for Blood: The Last Vampire. it way more better than Blood+, though Blood+ is prequel to Blood: The Last Vampire.
btw, Blood: The Last Vampire is OVA or OAV or watever u called it. its single eps anime only.

No, Blood+ is the sequel to Blood the Last vampire. Blood the last Vampire was set during the American vs Vietcong war in Vietnam, while Blood+ was during modern time. And I feel that Blood+ was a good anime, just the ending seems kinda iffy and did not do justice of a good initial runs of episode.

Well i can say 1 thing, if u 1st watched Blood: The Last Vampire 1st, Blood+ is a big dissapointment, but if u watch Blood+ 1st, u would say so-so, n Blood: The Last Vampire will be awesome. |

Strangely i get quite the opposite impressions although watching Blood TLV 1st. Blood TLV was more a visual showcase for Production I.G rather than anything else. It lacked any story or plot. The story was further developed in the Blood TLV PS2 games and novels though. Blood + being a series has the luxury for character development and plot progression so i felt Blood + was pretty good. To clear something up, Blood + has no relation to Blood The Last Vampire in terms of story other than the main character's name is Saya in both shows and they both use swords to kill vampires. Blood + is an alternate universe as it doesn't follow the events in the novels and games. Also in the movie, Saya mentions to kill Chiroptera, she must inflict a fatal wound that will make them lose blood, that's why guns are useless and she must use a sword. But in Blood + they change it that her blood is poisonous to Chiroptera. So Blood + is neither a prequel nor a sequel to Blood TLV. |
