No reason to say Blood+ is not good before patiently watch the series further. The first few episodes doesn't do the series much justice , as the story progress incredibly well after then . |

I just started watching this anime today.. One can say that im not an anime fan at all, coz maybe I didnt know that nice n not. So while I was watching the tube, then this advert came along. not sure its Animax or NTV7, but its about this Blood+ coming to the telly. I was kinda impressed with the shots.. n decided to check it out. Got the 1st Episode.. the US version (AdultSwim), n I Love it. The storyline seems good.. I cant wait for the 2nd ep.

finished re watching Blood+ for the 3rd time last january
hahaha
i still listen to the openings (parts 1-3) up till now ever since i saw the whole anime back in 2005...the song for part 4 sucks...
erm...yeah
the thing doesnt have any connections with blood: the last vampire...but if u still want it to be so, just imagine that the David in that movie, is the 2005 Blood+ David's dad...hahaha
the show rocks....got me glued to the seats la
and dont ruin it for the english version...the seiyuu for english sucks big time...thats why i dont watch animax much except some original big shots like yu yu hakusho or black cat...
anime becomes shit when they alih suara or being Subbed...better the english subs
and the drawings get better and better later in the oncoming episodes...i wonder why...hahaha
my blood+ was subtitled by Shinsen Subs
yeah...i heard no season 2 cuz all the big time people in the show malas edi i think

I remember the first time i watched Blood: Last Vampire EP1.... shivers down my spine.
The Saya from B+ doesn't really match the Saya in B:LV. The Last Vampire one is much... darker.

I mean both are Saya and both of them has short hair.... David and that black guy is still there (which maybe the next or the generation before Blood+). Both of them are great. But yea, the Saya in Last Vampire is much darker and more aggressive. But still she is one kind Saya to save that nurse  Hm.. the settings are the same for both Last Vampire and Blood+, the air force base! |

Say liow its alternate universe/retellling why still say its the same? >_> The Saya in Blood TLV is darker, probably cause u only see her for 1 hour?  If you pay attention in Blood + especially all those years she's been wandering the world, you'll notice that she is also quite "dark" going around killing Chiroptera like a cold blooded machine, and Haaji always faithful following her around. Maybe its because she lost her memory in recent times and living life as a normal highschool girl so you think she's not dark. |

Yea,it's not a sequel-prequel thingie,as seen in AniDB And as wolfx mention,in B+ itself,she was pretty dark in the past,but her life as a highschooler and lost of memory made her the Saya of the present. |

I would say both Blood+ and Blood: The Last Vampire are equally good. True, most people presume Blood+ would be a sequel to its predecesor but I prefer the new Saya Otonashi.
Yeah, I was quite surprised at first when I watched Blood+ and discovered that instead of using spades, swords(weapons that cause massive distruction to cheropteran in Blood: TLV), they changed it to Saya's blood. Hmmm...maybe its just sort of trying to force her to be the heroin. Like if someone else can do the job, then she wouldnt be the main focus anymore right?
Just an oppinion. Feel free to comment.
