Casual Junior Member 485 posts Joined: Mar 2009	and if i change my wira rim to 15inch. the most ideal profile for city driving is 1xx/xx/r15? Last time my ex-wira upgrade to 195/55/15, good comfort & most important many good & cheap tyre to choosed. After modded the engine to 1.8GTi, upgrade to 205/45/16, not comfort anymore & tyre price more expensive. If upgrade to 195/55/15, good & cheap, find Neuton NT5000/8000 or Achilles ATR or Yokohama Cdrive2 & many more good tyre depend on budget. Avoid soft tyre if need long lasting like Nexen & Continental (like- CC5)

New Member Junior Member 5 posts Joined: Mar 2011	A friend just visited Hup Shun PJS11 Sunway for a set of rims posted online with a price. Upon arrival at the shop, apparently the online price was promo and no longer valid. The RM1K rims are now RM2.5K. Before visiting HS he tried calling both mobile numbers. No one answered and no calls were returned. Sad but true. On the bright side, that's one less tire shop for me to check out when the butt gets itchy. Hope this saves someone some travelling time and petrol Mods pls move this thread if its not appropriate here.

Mine xm2 185/60 is the latest model, but not sure how to check the manufactured date. initially was planning to get 175/65,but the boss recommended me to get 185/60 instead of that due to comfy and price wise just a little bit different. Still, the price for 185/60 offered kinda worth it. rm190/piece include labour charges, alignment, balancing, and etc. no hidden charges as well, service quite good.

Achilles ATR Sport is supposed to be pretty good performance wise.. a friend labeled them "cheap n cheerful"...the same dood oso mentioned that the tires will overheat in about 2-3 laps in SIC (he does about 2.4x laptime)...the threads also lasts super long... so long that ur recommended to change the tires by the time the threads reach 50% coz the rubber would have harden n could break at any time u should look into RSR or R1R.. both have 140 threadwear...or u can look into KU36 (180 threadwear) if u can find them. ive posted prices for RSR and R1R 2 posts above urs im getting the RSR this weekend coz my wife n baby sits in the car with me at times n the RSR is supposed to be better in the wet than the R1R...ill be getting them from racing art klang.. if u want, and if ur in shah alam, u can join me this saturday to go n get urs too...mebbe buy 8 pieces can get more discount (drop me a PM if ur interested) and considering how often u change tires.. id strongly recommend getting another set of cheapo wheels with something like the ATR Sports for daily use and another set purely for track day....i plan on doing this... but gotta wait til i move in to my new house first.. right now no space to keep hahahha Hi, any review for that racing art shop?

i cheated... hah Senior Member 791 posts Joined: Jan 2003	What to recommend for 205/45/17? Budget is around 500 for 2 tires. Changed Achilles ATR Sport about a year ago and gone about 20k+ KM front is SCARY during wet. 0 grip when accelerating hard up hill from a roll, just spinning and spinning. On highway at about 100km/h during rain cruising traction control light would blink intermitently. aquaplaned few times, it takes too much concentration to drive in the wet with these worn tires. It is the front that is worn, especially the sides, 10-15% thread left. center still not too bad probably 40-50% left. Only thing is I go up and down Cameron through the old road more than most KL people do.
