195/55/15 - PS3 - 285 trade in price (2012 tyre) Very good tyre.

For cheap & good tyre try Nexen N8000/6000 or Continental CC5.

Your previous re001 better, S drive better than C drive 2 & nearly as good as Nexen N8000 but Nexen(Michelin Tech) soft compound wear fast. Better stick with your previous model latest version but now expensive compare than the other three model.

For 175/70/13 my rating/choice:
1. Bridgestone Turanza
2. Falken ZIEX 912
3. Michelin XM2
4. Continental CC5
All nearly equal quality & low noise for daily/normal use. If have extra budget can try Toyo Proxes or Continental CSC (Excellent Performance & comfort but Expensive).

As I know 7" rim good for 215 & 225 best for 7.5" & 8" rim. Anyway still can use.

Why not try asked Falken 912 price for 225/45/18, may be under your budget & good quality too.

Anybody know where could we find Continental ContiEcoContact 5 in Malaysia? This tyre among the best tyre for everyday use & long lasting. Hopefully cheap too.

Normally we in Klang will asked all the four different shop around the Hin Leong Jalan Kapar shop to compare the price & extra charge. Hin Leong advantage coz many choice of tyre & rims (ori & clone), price nearly same.

Latest visited they now offer new tyre brand Neuton, they claim good & cheap from Indonesia (Traction: AA Temperature: A Treadwear:320). I also found very good rating from:

I think Alza no problem with that size coz my friend myvi used that size, he told me his myvi now more comfortable & feel save too. He used Enkei rim & Nexen 8000 tyre(cheap & comfortable). My nephew Myvi used Neuton 205/45/16 tyre, she told me no problem.

Added on May 31, 2012, 11:06 amGoodyear F1 Asymmetric 2 very good tyre but I don't know if it have 195/55/15 size. My friend had bad experienced using chrome rim coz after 1 year the chrome part inside tyre area tear & the tyre punchured every week coz the air leaking from the chrome area. Please make sure the tyre area no paint/chrome (inside the rim).

Michelin PS3 & Continental CSC3 also good performance & comfort. If put comfort tyre at Vios make your car feel like lightweight BMW/Lexus.

If in that budget try Nexen N8000 very good overall but not long lasting(finish fast-soft). If you could go to 215/45/17 among the best & cheap is Goodyear Asym2 but price RM450/pcs. My idea Goodyear Asym2 at front & nexen at rear, performance & comfort nearly same but for 215/45/17 or 225/45/17 (the budget still below RM1600). May be bad idea!

Yes, 205/50/17 tyre very rare, 215/45/17 is universal size, most good tyre had this size.
Kumho KU31 not so bad but Kumho KU39 among the best, you also can try Nexen N8000 if you drive light japan/local car. If got extra budget go Goodyear eagle F1 Asymm2 or Conti CSC5 or PS3(CSC5 & PS3 expensive).

I found Neuton NT8000(Singapore Company) also cheap & good, but not many shop selling it.

Yup, call them last month, they only have 225/55/17 for neuton nt8000. NT5000 not bad but NT8000 tyre tread design is very good. Could you give feedback of that tyre (grip, comfort & noise)? TQ

May I know what tyre brand/model at your Lexus, if they used Conti CSC or Pirelli or Michelin for sure overpriced at SC.
You can call them first asking the tyre price & then compare with outside (tyre shop) price.

Not many special tyre produce 55r18 size, for grip & comfort you can choose Continental SportContact 5 or Continental PremiumContact 5 if drive mostly at normal road. Other special tyre like Michelin Super Sport or Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 not produce that size.

Other choice Continental Cross Contact UHP or Pirelli Scorpion or Goodyear Wrangler or Michelin Diamaris is a specifically designed for 4x4 vehicles.

Agree! The tyre shop will consider to trade if the tyre condition could recycle (boleh pakai balik) but the value very low.

I recommend Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2, Porche 911 2012 official tyre. Average price but very good performance(dry/wet) & comfort too. Ban Hooi Klang price RM500+ starting 225/45/17.

Conti CSC3 good, some owner mentioned better than latest CSC5 & same performance with G/year Asymm2 but this tyre wear fast if put front. The Goodyear Assym2 can last nearly twice compare with CSC3. Last year my officemate bought Peugeot 308 come with this CSC3 tyre & only last 6-8 months, he change with same tyre at service center, very expensive but the new tyre blow(koyak) at highway hit small rock at speed 140kmh. Now he happy with Goodyear Asymm2 at 1/2 price. He said cheap, very good grip & comfort/silent too.

How much the charge you for each tyre? In Shah Alam Continental Shop CSC3 selling at RM700+ & CSC5 RM800 for 225/45/17.

ContiSportContact 5 for 225/45/17 at RM580 is consider cheap. CSC5 consider Ultra Performance level. Could you get me the price for 215/50/17? Coz Goodyear Asymm2 not produce that size. TQ

Hopefully Continental Malaysia will bring in other good tyre like Premium Contact 5 & Eco Contact 5 (support 15", 16" & 17" rim).

If your original tyre size 175/65/14 you can go to 185-195/50-55 for 15" rim. Cheap, good & comfort you can try Yoko CDrive2 or Nexen N8000 or Neuton NT8000 or Conti CC5 or Goodyear D5 or Kumho KU31/36/39 & many more. Expensive & very good can find Michelin PS3 or Hankok Ventus S1 evo & many more. I may be try Neuton NT8000 next change, my Goodyear GSD3 nearly finish & noisy.

Latest Continental CPC5 very good but not yet in Malaysia, may be can try Yoko Cdrive2 or cheaper try Neuton NT8000 at 15 Jln G/25G Bukit Kemuning Batu 8 Shah Slam (Tel:012-6178697). Not far from Puchong. Your size not sure in stock.
