What to recommend for 205/45/17? Budget is around 500 for 2 tires. Changed Achilles ATR Sport about a year ago and gone about 20k+ KM front is SCARY during wet.

0 grip when accelerating hard up hill from a roll, just spinning and spinning. On highway at about 100km/h during rain cruising traction control light would blink intermitently. aquaplaned few times, it takes too much concentration to drive in the wet with these worn tires.

It is the front that is worn, especially the sides, 10-15% thread left. center still not too bad probably 40-50% left. Only thing is I go up and down Cameron through the old road more than most KL people do. Probably these tires are soft, but its hella expensive if a slightly more expensive tires can last twice as long...
