QUOTE(killerfly @ Jan 8 2013, 05:54 PM) nt8000, is that the nexen korean/taiwanese brand? heard quite good review on it from my colleagues.. cheap good sticky nexen is korean brand http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nexen_Tirekorean tires are generally cheap compared to the other competition such as american good year, french michelin, german continental, japanese yokohama/bridgestone/toyo tire maker counterparts while still providing comparable levels of comfort/performance/tread wear lasting depending on models offered.

YHI also Nexen & Yokohama Distributor for Asean. Production from Achilles Factory in Indonesia. More info refer: http://www.neutontyre.com.sg/ & http://www.yhi.com.sg/Pdts_distribute.html I already try both NT5000 & NT8000, good comfort & good performance tyre. Comparable with CDrive 2 & Nexen N8000, but PS3 still overall better(5-10%).

If low/tight budget can consider Neuton NT5000/8000 or Atr Sport2. Latest price try asked bro Nestum: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=947105&hl=

So yesterday I went back to Apex Tire in Sunway(in fromt Rock Cafe), and the RE002 195/55/15 still rm370. Got my rears swapped this time to match the fronts. IIRC 205/50/15 was under rm400. I didnt go for that one since its too wide for my little engine. Look for Ah Fai (or Fat, i misplaced the namecard =__= )

QUOTE(mytaffeta @ Jan 9 2013, 12:28 PM) u tried NT8000 before? how long does it last? 10% performance less than ps3 is good already.. Using it since June 2012, just finish 10-20%. I think can last 2 years for my daily used. I put NT8000(195/55/15 - RM175) at Myvi & NT5000(215/50/17 - RM220) at MPV. I like it comfort compare with my previous Goodyear GSD3, Bridgestone RE001 & Federal. Nearly as comfort as my previous Pirelli P7000(very comfort & grippy but not long lasting like CSC3/5). Grip as good as GSD3 or may be better. Anyway I'm not racing type driver just some time if rushing driving MPV at 180+kmh normally at night before AES installed. Price reasonable and the ride quality is really good. Good wet braking also. Low rolling resistance. Try it. U wont regret.

Neuton NT8000 different company/factory with N8000. Tread design, performance & comfort nearly same but Neuton long lasting compare with Nexen. If budget RM200 per donut my recommendation Neuton NT8000/5000 in your price range. PS3 & CDrive2 price more than RM200 each.
