I've been using Michelin Ps3 for 2 years now and it's time for replacement. haven't been in touch on what are the new avail tyres and the performance/price. Any recomendations?

If PS3 is still the best Anyone knows what's the current cheapest price for Michelin Ps3 195/55/15 and where to get it?

been using the stock silverstone Powerblitz tyres for 5 years. just today i changed all to michelin xm2 for RM200 per piece, include valve, alignment and balancing. Change the brake pad also for front.

I think better skip Silverstone. I thought Toyo T1R replace by T1S, anyway for daily use(dry & wet) at normal road better go to Toyo T1S for performance & Toyo C1S for comfort. Toyo R1R very good dry grip but suffer during wet. The price around RM400+ each at Ban Hooi or Hin Leong Klang.

Other better choices Goodyear Asymmetric 2 (RM450) & Continental CSC 3/5 (RM600+). Other cheaper choices Continental MaxContact/PremiumContact 5 & Neuton N5000/N8000(cheapest good budget tyre at RM200+). cool2.gif

Sorry dude, I don't have the price list for 14" unless I asked for it. I got price list for the available tyres for 18", 19" & 20" as these are the sizes that my rides are riding on.

15" tyres prices varies also from different tyre shops. If money is not an issue, go for the Continental Premium Contact 2 (Made in South Africa) for maximum comfort & occasional spirited driving.

just to share my story during my visit to Pusat Servis Tayar Weng Heng @ Bukit Kemuning (http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2520683&hl=), service by Ah Han (a tall & thin gentleman)

My ride - Kia Forte 1.6SX, year 2010, 52000KM, never change tyre since bought it (came with Kumho KH17 if not mistaken), previous service & alignment all done by Naza Kia Service Centre

after obtained quote for Neuton NT8000 for 215/45R17 through LowYat @ RM240/PC (installation & balancing only), decided to pay them a visit today after visiting my customer in Klang

Ah Han helped to inspect all 4 tyre. 2 Kumho that are in better shape were put to the rear, and get 2 new Neuton NT8000 for the front. additional RM10 (for 2 rubber valve) & RM20 (for alignment)

when my car was on the alignment machine, Ah Han suggested to install "adjustable chamber nut" (sorry, not sure is this the correct term) in each of the front wheel - driver side was off by 1.3, & passenger side was 1.1 - quote RM140 for a total of 2 "adjustable chamber nut"

total damage - RM650 (Ah Han wanted to charge 2% for CC, but after some negotiation, there was no charge for CC)

also asked Ah Han to quote for size 185/65R15 (for my gf's Nissan Latio). verbally he mentioned Continental CC1 is RM210 & CC5 is RM220

Neuton is Made in Indonesia, RM240 is more than 1/2 Million Rupiah. brows.gif

Neuton HQ at Singapore but factory at Indonesia.That company also Main Distributor for Yokohama & Nexen.

hi all,

Anyone know how much is the price for Yokohama A-Drive R1 tire? and how is the performance?

I've being quoted for RM 320/pcs + free alignment and balancing for this type of tire. is this a standard price? thanks

some of the prices remain.some of the prices have hike while some dropped price.
toyo t1r is cheaper now.michelin ps3 is rm250++ which i asked last week.not sure with goodyear tyres.for falken 912,that was cheap.for bridgestone my01 is around that price.my02 have already been launched and is already in the market.the above continental price is slighly expensive.

i went to shop for this size with my colleague for his honda civic donuts,and i was surprised to found out that hin leong's toyo price is so expensive,rm600 each?yokohama s drive's price is standard.achilles atr sport 2 is in the market now?

I don't know the price for 205/50/16.It should be less than rm300.205/45/16 is rm 270.50 series is slightly expensive.

I bought a set of 4 pcs of Yokohama A.Drive R1 for my daily ride as it's within my budget as well requirements. Another ride of mine fitted with Continental Sport Contact 5! wink.gif
