Mi300 on gaia from 1.0.3. UI is more responsive. GPS is not locking as fast and consistence as previous update. imo previous wallpaper is better than gaia. How do i copy the previous wallpaper to gaia. Great n TQ

updated from 1.0.3 to GAIA,
what funny is, i have orientation problem in GAIA, although never on 1.0.3 before.

any idea how to fix this, other that reflashing to 2.1.

Just flashed to Gaia last night and no doubt, harder, better, faster and stronger than 1.0.3.

Simply, freaking good.

The wallpaper can be copied from the 1.0.3 launcher2.apk. or you can just google for nexus s default wallpaper.

You can by flashing any kernel that you can find until it produce good result. Thanks to terry for the workround. It seem that most users have good result by flashing ubuntu #3 and #20. Some users have no toblem using superAOSP which is the mygingerbread gaia default kernel

whow, i see korean, japanese and chinese at the same page.
Have you set your locales setting? such as location and language, also you can check if the browser have proper permissions such as use use current location for example.

I have a problem. I cant find "Google Maps" app in my phone, and when I try to downlooad from Market, I cant find it in market as well.

I remember I use to have it in the market with other rom, right?

Can this use on HTC Wildfire????

System on default gaia. GPS is still slow to lock when using Endomondo sport tracker. Wifi disconnected when screen if off although the status bar show connected. hv to disconnect and reconnect again. How to use the car home ie navigate, maps and places ( no activity). Thanks for the wall paper pointer. TQ

try other kernel like ubuntu#3, 2.6.32.9 edgar#6,11,20, aosp 2version (get it on boston mania)
or 2.6.35.11 and see what fit ur fone.

any problem occur when using this rom can be fix by changing kernel,it seem that some kernel fits some version of fone,so try it one by one as angelictears already done a great job of creating GAIA for us.Spare him some time to rest and do a small research on this.

there is nothing to compare as my result on kernel differ for different version on z71 variant + all clone.
if u wanna result.juz use 2.6.35.11 v of kernel as that kernel originally optimize for 1ghz device.AOSP was the original and most stable for GAIA.

Hi guys, i flashed my rom to MyGB 1.0.3 1 week ago, and out of sudden, my 'call', 'end call' & 'enter' button was malfunctioned yesterday nite, anyone know wats actually happened? the worst thing is, i cnt even flash my rom bek to CM7 neither using download mode or recovery mode as each of that three button is one of the key button for download and recovery mode...any idea to fix?

What rom are you based from?

try to pull out the battery for a few minutes before trying to enter recovery mode/download mode. The phone will sometimes need several time before it can enter either mode. Although download mode should be available no matter which ROM installed.

This is because HTC Wildfire are powered on a different chipset than the mi300, msm 7225 and different bootloader.

However I am collecting funding on expanding MYGingerbread ROM series to other devices , visit here for more details (although it says for CSL, as long as I have the source code for Android OS on the device mentioned, example HTC Wildfire, I can make it) and resources expanding (Hard drive for example). Although I do what I can to develop the ROM for other devices if I can.
