and here i am double checking my calendar wondering why suddenly talk about chelsea game. i thought my calendar was wrong.
one game at a time guys. no matter how small the team is.. it's still 3 points on the line

That is true. Mata will be a handful and I am hoping he plays on the right so Enrique could at least be dependable to keep him limited in space.
I only worry on Glen's side, if Kelly is handling it then it gives me some confidence in keeping Mata out if Mata plays left for the Blues. That is if Kelly is playing.
It's still 3 more matches prior to the Stamford Bridge visit. I know by then the confidence will be high again to take on Chelsea.

My apologies.
I am not taking away the credit of the current 3 teams we'll be facing, but it was the talk of Torres and Meireles being on the scoresheet vs Genk that struck up the conversation of the Chelsea vs Liverpool game.
Norwich will not be easy, not that I am being too respectful, I am more concerned of our over confidence in this game. They will play hard and they won't give us an easy time. We just have to have faith in the workings of King Kenny and the trickery of Suarez.

Was wondering as well why are we talking about chelsea game when we are weeks away from that... thought i missed out some additional matches from cup...
Norwich's away record has been pretty unpredictable...
with 1W 1D 2L
and
conceding 7 goals and scoring 4
note the defeats were to Chelsea and Manu. they won at the Reebok (Bolton) and drew with Wigan. the only thing in our favour is that they've conceded in all their away matches thus dar and scored only 4 on all travels.
norwich will come and try to play for 3pts just like how they done to mu at old trafford. Our players must be hardworking and fast enough to close down the opponent since Lucas is suspended for this match
y are we worrying of lucas's absence when we got spearing as decent backup? i think spearing can fit into the slot anytime as long he's fit
I think this game would be the best chance to play Henderson and Adam in the middle. I'm actually quite impressed with what I've seen in Henderson so far, although not the finished article, he would benefit from playing in his natural position. Has a good vision and technique, not bad for a young English player. Though, we are far more likely to see him on the right (Kuyt on the bench), Gerrard & Adam in the middle.
Another player I would like to see tomorrow is Coates. Needs the PL exposure.
We are up to fifth in the table and we have three winnable games in a row starting with Norwich. If we can win those three games we might well be considered as genuine title contenders, but I think a top-four finish is the height of our capabilities. Charlie Adam and Luis Suarez had good game last outing, and if Steven Gerrard is back to his best he has to be considered to be gambled once again.
Norwich have played very well since their promotion, and won three of their eight games so far. If they continue to play so well they should achieve their ambition of staying in the Premier League for another season. Anthony Pilkington is the man of the moment for Norwich, and his recent goals have been a real bonus for them.
I think we have more than enough to win this game if we approach it in the right manner.
