see that be the thing with pool fans in this forum. they cant take banter....everyone has to be super serious like DukeRed and solstice and post super ultra insightful constructive post with propah grammar and all...wait actually i dont really mind the grammar part. anyways, cut to the chase, some pool fans in this forum are wayyyyyy to sensitive, it just sucks the life out of any fun jibes/banter/wtv...

football will always split opinions even within own clubs, like some ppl will say player x is crap, others will defend him. and when your opinion is vindicated, you just wanna march up to those ppl who said ie, au revoir come back when you have won 18, and just say....HEH! you were sayin?

but apparently that is like zomg bad mouthing liverpool, bring out them history books then kasi le banhammer/post delete. lighten up ppl...dont tell me when you are among your friends you dont give them some stick when their team loses/is doing badly....
if united had beaten pool at anfield, i would be gloating irl and in the forums cause i know it will hurt/piss them off.....which really isnt a bad thing cause it reflects the passion you have for your club. blah blah blah, im sure serious man will come and retort everything i just posted blah blah

ending this with 19! see you when we reach 20...or in the champions league. oh wait. daymnnnn

If I may as a fan of LFC make an observation.

This sounds like a child in need of attention and not getting it at home. He feels he is funny and harmless but he shows here he is not. From close observation, he is needing some kind of a justification to point out that what he is doing is correct; seeking approval for what he does or says and almost a certainty; this is also reflected in his daily life. Such is a child who has had a troubled childhood either with parental issues or peers alike.

I implore all fans here to not look at his comments or how most of you would call trolling to be anything other than a call for help from a fellow human being. Just say you understand and hope all will be well for him. That is the least any decent fans of a great club like Liverpool Football Club can do to.

From now on; every post reply to his post should be:
We understand your pain and your need for approval. All will be well. And You will never walk alone. God Bless. wub.gif

That is trivializing a serious issue. He is definitely in need of some sympathy and in due time he might turn out to be a loving individual with less bitterness and jealousy. shakehead.gif

wat if we can play Torres + Suarez + Gerrard + Miereles in our team?

I happen to see the goals from Torres and Meireles.
It was almost routine.

But they are playing for Chelsea now and there is no point wishing for something that will not happen.

Besides spearing, robinson, flanagan, sterling, who else does Liverpool have to present into the team for fringe matches?

I am looking at the notion of allowing young starlets to break into the new team. Amoo and Coady seems to have the skills to be performers for the squad but I hardly see them at all.

You sound like a bad gay marriage slogan.

The poor chap definitely needs more approval if is he is chanting gay slogans. Society already frowns upon gay marriages as it is.
All the more reason for Liverpool fans to understand what is going through the attention seeker's mind.

dont understand why ppl who support united are all labelled glory hunter....i've supported united since 99...obviously one cannot label liverpool fans as glory hunters because of the lack of ahem...silverware. the reverse of that logic is not true heh. same like how you wouldnt call barce supporters glory hunters because they are going thru a very successful period. the madrid fans of 2000s era are still madrid fans if get what i mean.

Feed the poor lost chap with enough love and eventually the hate and bitterness will be faded away.

Meireles plays with confidence of late. The goal he scored for Chelsea would boost his confidence and VillaBoas confidence in him as well.

Torres on the other hand has shown more control and speed. He is still a player that depends alot on feeding the ball directly to him. He's dribbling skill will be coming back steadily and he will be the cause of many sleepless nights for defenders like how he did a N.Vidic.

But on a whole, hats off to a confident growing Chelsea team and they will definitely be title challengers this season.

I am thinking the probable back four during that time would be Glen, Carragher, Agger and Enrique. To shackle Torres is not easy if he is made to play center-forward.

I would rather shackle the midfield with Lucas being the lynchpin and making sure the venomous central passes would not reach Torres to do any damage. I remember some time ago that a pundit commented that Torres may be a world class striker, he is also depending heavily on world class passes.

It was a joy to see through-pass from Stevie to Torres during his Liverpool days. That was class.

That is true. Mata will be a handful and I am hoping he plays on the right so Enrique could at least be dependable to keep him limited in space.

I only worry on Glen's side, if Kelly is handling it then it gives me some confidence in keeping Mata out if Mata plays left for the Blues. That is if Kelly is playing.

It's still 3 more matches prior to the Stamford Bridge visit. I know by then the confidence will be high again to take on Chelsea.

and here i am double checking my calendar wondering why suddenly talk about chelsea game. i thought my calendar was wrong.

one game at a time guys. no matter how small the team is.. it's still 3 points on the line

My apologies. tongue.gif

I am not taking away the credit of the current 3 teams we'll be facing, but it was the talk of Torres and Meireles being on the scoresheet vs Genk that struck up the conversation of the Chelsea vs Liverpool game.

hmm.gif Norwich will not be easy, not that I am being too respectful, I am more concerned of our over confidence in this game. They will play hard and they won't give us an easy time. We just have to have faith in the workings of King Kenny and the trickery of Suarez. flex.gif

I saw the video on LFC Tube on Facebook.
I didn't believe that fans could desert their team walking out like that.
The excuse from some comments said it was painful for the fans to watch it but to me it's pure hogwash.
I think like what a few here have been observing is the lack of strong mentality in the fans to hold up. It's more humiliating to show the world over that the fans even in Manchester are glory hunting fanboys by doing just that.
The next troll coming in here would be looked at with such pity and sadness now especially when this has happened twice in a row in their very own Theater of Dreams.
I still have respect for Manchester United but none whatsoever at their fans and they constantly prove my disrespect correct.

To be fair, those that left early were probably foreign fans or daytrippers. The gloryhunting lot. Is just shocking to see that so many of them got tickets!

This is by far the main reason for the retort of glory hunting fans that is makes the mass of the Manchester United supporters worldwide.
If in your own stadium can be cleared so quickly and efficiently they are no different from rats from a sinking ship.
As observation goes I am expecting a massive increase in jersey sales in the Blue end of Manchester after the game yesterday.
The rats will always seek dryer grounds. tongue.gif

3 points. That is the magical number game per game.

The Baggies have won their match last week and will be high on confidence.

Winning them will not be easy but if anyone can grab an away victory I think would be the strike combination of Bellamy-Suarez-Kuyt.

It will not be easy away at the Hawthorns and against Roy's boys it would be a fight.

smile.gif Woah, Liverpool fans not trolling in MUST, that is the difference between us. But then again, they always lurk in here anyway so they know what's been said about the thumping.

Kenny Dalglish's expression is priceless. biggrin.gif

It was unfortunate for Coates for that silly mistake. But good defenders know that a blunder like that would be a massive wake up call.
Coates will come good. He is solid, can command the air and would be a great addition at the back. Time will tell.

Nothing to say about our Luis Suarez. Nothing needs said. Kick him down, accuse him of racism, accuse him of play acting, accuse him of violence if you want but we Just Can't Get Enough tongue.gif

I rather we play City. I am really curious as to how we'll contain them.

The amount of money we have spent should produce results against teams like City and the rest if we want to challenge to get back into the UCL this year. No point in hoping someone else knocks them out.

It's another team and Liverpool FC should face up to any teams on any levels of threat.

The match between Liverpool and Swansea last night showed lots of possession wasted and almost no build up play.

Granted Swansea were defensive but still they played really good counter attacks that almost pulled the sucker punch on Liverpool.

The stats do not look as promising after 11 games but Liverpool were always trying to rebuild so again what ever happens this season will not be the end but a benchmark of some sorts.

To be fair Liverpool did not perform badly this season. And it's not like they have lost the fear factor, it's like they have a problem finishing.

If teams are indeed not worried about facing Liverpool, they would not have been defensive and play the counter attack game. You seriously don't expect to have a fear till you can't play syndrome from other teams. I know Manchester sadtarts are always thinking they are invincible, but it should not be the case with Liverpool.

Barca was also going through a scoring problem sometime back when the team took the time to gel and now they are dominating almost 3 seasons in a row. smile.gif

I didn't go into the thread trolling for Liverpool sorry. I did that because they can troll on other threads but a Barca fan troll on theirs they feel butthurted.

And it's really just for fun, they are too easy especially the obvious ones. I throw a little bit of crumb on the floor and they all came to lap it up like good doggy, doesnt take too much imagination at all.
