coates's mistake was silly

its more of the winger got the best of coates.

Coates' style involves mainly shoving opposition away from the ball, and then clearing it. In this case it was more of Coates that got outdone.

Kenny Dalglish's expression is priceless.

It was unfortunate for Coates for that silly mistake. But good defenders know that a blunder like that would be a massive wake up call.
Coates will come good. He is solid, can command the air and would be a great addition at the back. Time will tell.

Nothing to say about our Luis Suarez. Nothing needs said. Kick him down, accuse him of racism, accuse him of play acting, accuse him of violence if you want but we Just Can't Get Enough

i liked it when we were not afraid of anyone even when we had the underdogs tag (under the ex gaffer whom manu fans hates the most)

Bro..we dont need complete overhaul of the back four. we performed well with enrique on the left, kelly on the right and carra and agger at center. what we need is agger to stays fit and train carra's protege which we already have in Coates before the man himself retires..

what we need to improve is our winger. all this while, we don have a fast and reliable winger since downing came in but it seems he is not living to his par yet compare his days in aston villa.

just to add that I think we should have been awarded a penalty when Coates was held down in the 1st half... who knows if he managed to strike it, it might the goal of the season.
