QUOTE(leoyew @ Jan 11 2012, 03:28 PM) you're wrong! sometime your tablet left 80% battery life u keep it on? another wrong perception.Tablet just like your life, can u without sleep within 1 month? If you always keep your gadget On sure your gadget life is shorter than other! If your tablets takes up 20% battery over night. That means you are running something in the background. You should also turn off bluetooth, 3g/edge, wifi and so on it you don't need them to be running at night. Or the tablet is just lousy. Majority of the phone or tablet's battery usage is on the screen. When it is in sleep mode, screen is blank and battery usage would be at minimum. Tablet need to sleep? Yeah...sleep is not equal to power off. When you leave it idle, it go to sleep. Tablets/smartphones are designed to turn on 24/7 under standby mode. When you say gadget's life become shorter, do you mean the battery or other parts? If you mean battery then you are wrong again. Modern ion-lithium battery does not have "memory effect" when it comes to keeping charge. It is designed to last around 2-3 years. Even if you turn the component OFF, it will still last that long only. It doesn't help to prolong the battery if you always keep your device OFF. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithium-ion_b...ttery_pack_life |

Macbook got sleep mode can completely turn off all apps... maybe you're just act like pro and didn't realize that in mobile OS, some app still running even u turn off the screen and those app is hidden and can't kill by any background killer app.... to me battery life will be based on how u use it. when i am in gaming mode, the battery can last for around 9-10 hours or so before drain to 5-10%, this is coupled with internet browsing over the wifi. but now with very little time on gaming and web browsing and mostly just on 2g (call n sms), the battery seem to survive almost 2 days & 6 hours with battery left 30%, which is i think is very good

It's here... the ultimate card reader for SGT!
The package. ![]() The unit. 3 USB 2.0 ports (showing up as UsbDriveA, UsbDrive B and UsbDriveC respectively). Will only support 1 USB 2.0 port without external power - use the Samsung charger instead. With 2 USB 2.0 ports running 2 different flash drive. Need external power. ![]() With 1 USB 2.0 port running 1 flash drive. No need external power. ![]() Overall, worth it... only RM 26 if purchased directly from eBay. Took 1 week to arrive from HK. I plan to stick an old iPad external backup battery pack to the reader for portability. This post has been edited by acbc: Jan 13 2012, 05:48 PM |
