The New Firmware P6200DXKK5 bit laggy for me. Any Idea where To download/downgrade old firmware ? LOL

Hmph, don't think so. I would think it follows the phone number. Well, if you wife can copy the folder and zip it for you, should be okay. Important is there are some database files in the old whatsapp folder that is linked to contacts. My best guess lar.

Coz initially when I install Whatsapp without copying over the folder, I had the same problem as you. I then uninstall, reinstall from the website and copy over the folder. Works!

Well, guess you have to live without whatsapp for a while...

Argh, I accidentally updated to DXKK5 too, through software update in Settings>About phone. Haven't experience the lag yet.

By the way, for those whom have bought the Galaxy Tab Casing and have your proximity sensor blocked, you can disable the sensor in Settings> Screen.

any idea when the casing and sp will available in the market... want to buy 1 but scare the unit get scratch.....

WOW, guys. So happy to hear that so many of you have gotten the Tab 7 Plus already. I have a review unit with me, playing with it and loving it very much.

PS. I have been scouring the internet for cases as well.

My contacts estimate between 2 weeks to a month. Either sacrifice the proximity sensor or use the HTC flyer casing for temporary solutions. I rather it not look 100% chun, then kena a few scratches. Any idea if the screen is Gorilla Glass?

Added on November 30, 2011, 7:18 pmGreat first impression there. You're right about the mysterious and almost mystical Tab 7.7. Just tired of waiting for that and went for the Tab Plus instead.

However, the 8.9 almost won the sale if not for the inability (for now, at least until custom ROMs are out). Samsung is really into spoiling us with choices...)

For those who just got Tab plus and want to buy case please check it out at Pc Fair this weekend at KLCC. Sun U is having counter to sell those case but not for Note users.

Usually those devices that are more popular will have more cookers working on the ROMs. Like SGS1, HTC Desire etc.

Hopefully with the pricing and portability factor of the 7+, it will be a more popular choice. If it's true that 7.7 is way more expensive, then quite unlikely for people to risk playing with custom ROMs on it too.

New tab 7+ user report im. Yeah.
I notice there is a lot diff compare to tab 7. Well i am compare stock rom to stock rom. Keyboard layout. Weight. Screen sharper also. Everything look nicer and smooth...
Screen is vy responsive as well. I can said worth to buy and don need wait for 7.7. This unit is rock.

I think i want to point out...just want to confirm....i saw my unit taken out from the seal box. Sme set. So in the shop while waiting them to process my unit and register with samsung, i put im my sim card and start to configure.... And i set my google account to sync my contact and bookmark. Then once finish setup i found out that my prvious tab unit setting also has been sign including my wallpaper...amazing. And those apps that i install previously also inside! U guys hv the same experience also? My unit when i walk out from shop comes with angry bird la. Dophine browser la. Friend caster la. Newspaper apps la....wow. At first i still thought this is used set...

But this happened only when all my setting for HTC Flyer open in my Samsung Note....weird lah

i think if you set to back up your info to your google account, it will restore to any android device you subsequently use the same google account with - even wifi passwords are stored and transferred if i'm not mistaken.

im planning to pair tab plus with SE liveview...anyone has tried? issit stable?

my android experience was tab 7 - sensation - tab 7 +. funny is when i sygn my google account with sensation. those previous apps that i install was not sync...and not tab 7+ it restore all my apps.... any 1 experience this b4? was google detect that tab 7 and sensation was way too diff model do it didnt sync?

i using s+ the custom rom support for this phone not as great as s aa many go for s2.

now for 7+ not sure it will same again as many will go for 7.7.
