so, did any of you guysget the screen protector or casing for your unit?

the shop that i bought from yesterday don't have the casing yet and since they did not offer me the screen protector i'm guessing they do not have the screen protector either since they said this is new unit and they don't haave the accesories that goes with it.

i'm going to lowyat plaza today to look for the screen protector and casing. if i've got more money to spend i'm going to look for a cheap bluetooth headset too.

Let us know what cases you find in LY Plaza. Maybe take some snapshots. Looking for a slim profile case.
I don't think the SP's are available yet. Might have to DIY mine from a spare Tab 10.1 SP.

I bought 2 units, I asked for a chapalang screen saver for free and to be replaced with a foc proper screen protector later.

I bought the HTC flyer casing which can be exchanged for the proper casing later too.

The only regret I have is to buy the unit and dun have the chance to play with it yet

do we even need bluetooth. with the earpiece i retired my old gal tab headset. sure it looks funny but i think at least now i can use the Tb 7+ like an actual phone

There is a shop at sungei wang plaza selling the case complete with bluetooth keyboard for RM130. It's a little too big to put inside my pocket tho. Going to LYP now.

1. Casing :
I did not find a single shop selling for tab plus. I bought mine for RM50, originally for tab P1000. But, since this is the slimmest i took it for temporary.

Screen Protector :
Mostly offering me the P1000 version but they will cut the top part for speaker for calling. Cheapest is RM30. I havn't purchase yet. Will look for a littlembit more.

Of course you can use any simcard in whatever country that uses GSM systems

Right, this is what i got from hunting session today

1. Casing/Pouch.
It was originally for old tab. but since most shops did not have stock for our tab, i took this. it's the slimmest i've found.


2. Screen Protector.
Most shop did not have stock for this version, i took this. Brand is Screen Guard.

As you can see, this was originally for P1000, but they modded the box and wrote 7.0 Plus instead .

and this is how it looks like on my tab.

i focus on the top part so that you guys can see how does it look when they had to cut the screen protector a little bit to make way for our earpiece which the old tab does not come with.

So, if you guys are not like me which is a little careless, just wait for another week and hopefully all the accesories for this new tab of ours will start to come in. if you can't, and you want protection (screen protector) , just go to any accesories shop and purchase the screen protector for old tab with the top part cut out. that will work for a temporary protection

am looking forward to buy a g. tab 7 plus in few days time. i kinda like the application Note (not sure the exact full name) for taking notes that i think i can use to jolt down notes during meetings.
just to ask, anybody can recommend a good stylus that work nicely with the tab? i read some articles online that some stylus brands are not that suitable with the tab. any help i can get is highly appreciated. thanks

Battery Last How Long Per charge/usage ?

it's time to get it bro. i've got mine and happily using as a main mobile phone as well

full charged at 8.45am. until now still got 8%.

Usage until 10pm :
-Mostly using Edge on my digi (disable HSDPA to conserve more energy)
-occasionally changed to HSDPA for uploading some pictures and host a wifi hotspot for missus 3GS while we were having lunch
-got home at 6pm,disable data plan and been using home wifi until now.

bear in mind, this is my only 2nd day of using. so, the battery consumption might get better
