QUOTE(Andy89 @ Apr 30 2012, 12:30 AM) which one to choose? I personally went for the 64g wi-fi. Reason being once I got my iPhone 4 with personal hotspot I found that I didn't need use the 3G on my iPad (1st gen) at all. Also managed to save some money since I didn't have to maintain another data plan. The only issue probably is that it shortens the battery life of the iPhone. So I carry a battery pack around just in case. My 2 sen.....i live in sabah, no 4G at the moment. i got samsung galaxy s2, i can use hotspot/3g if i own the 4g whats the point? any advice ? much appreciate ... |

If u have a plan on ur s2 now, I will suggest u get a wifi only version.
If not, u really should consider 4g version P/s I owned an ipad2 wifi only, but now I choose to upgrade to new iPad wifi&4g |

Or drain battery on the phone. Who knows when someone wants to reach u importantly. |

QUOTE(babycherie @ Apr 30 2012, 12:15 AM) hello guys All just exaggeration. Up to you to believe what you want. I hear both positive and negative, while my experience is so far very positive.i hear alot negative comment say that. New ipad Screen, wi-fi, battery & overheating issues. anyone experience this? Trust me, you will not regret buying the iPad. QUOTE(Andy89 @ Apr 30 2012, 12:30 AM) which one to choose? iPad can still use 3g. Even if you get iPad2, it will still cost the same additional money for the 3g vs wifi option. Now the difference is 4g vs wifi so don't look at it as a 4g just because the particular technology that iPad isn't hear Malaysia yet.i live in sabah, no 4G at the moment. i got samsung galaxy s2, i can use hotspot/3g if i own the 4g whats the point? any advice ? much appreciate ... Myself bought the 4g / wifi version, and loving it ever since. |

Some Apple stock is from SG, some direct from China.
Anyway if got invoice should be ok or check the warranty here... https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do |

Apple products do not require receipts as proof of purchase for warranty purpose. This is because they are uniquely identified based on their serial number. So no matter where (except for iphone), you Apple device will be covered by international warranty, just bring the device, then they (Apple Store) can check for you, whether you're still under warranty or not

Hmm would like to ask some questions for u guys here.
I normally rip my blue rays to be watched in my Ipad 2 at 720p 2.5mbps audio at 160kbps 48hz. with the new ipad. so far no prob at vid 1080p 8mbps audio at 8mbps audio at 160kpbs 48hz. the question is is the 8mbps vs lower around 3.5mbp... is there a difference. Googling it some say no diff at a 10inch screen and some say depends on the movie. Movies tested from ripping on blue ray from Amazon Sherlocks Holmes 2 Mission Impossible 4 Iron Man 2. After a week of testing so far no noticeable diff.So the question is based on your experience what bitrates do u guys aim for .. from ripping ure BD's??Any thoughts on this?? btw Home Sharing is severely affected with the 8mbps even with my Dlink N router. Would think this is a itunes issue. This post has been edited by cstkl1: Apr 30 2012, 06:25 PM |

If still feel slow, maybe you should go and check it again.QUOTE(chew3344 @ May 1 2012, 06:51 PM) LOL, so many ppl asking this. So far no one suing apple for battery life or heating issues. Get your facts right. And no one complain much about iPad either. |

QUOTE(chew3344 @ May 1 2012, 09:21 PM) I've been using my iPad constantly. Doesn't get as hot as my Alienware gaming laptop or any other laptops for that matter. Just exaggeration only. Good to have a bit of heat as well. Aircond room can be very cold sometimes |
