I use many tools before and spoil many too. I know how rough those cheap tools are make when it spoil and I open out.

It give me shit quality work.

ok ok... so wat is bestest unit for a novice guy to get.. bestest in terms of price n value for a rotary hammer... for mason drilling jobs..

Buying a drill for wall drilling, makesure it above 400W. And have hammering and drilling function switch. If the drill is below 400W, you will have difficult drilling a bigger hole of red brick wall. And don't hope to drill concrete wall at all.

I don't no about this drill. Please check the drill spec before you buy. Power=torque.

Can anyone tell me what is the different between bosch GBH2-26RE and GBH2-26DRE?
Does rotary hammer doing good job on drilling hole on the steel? Any review?

GBH2-26DFR come with quick change chuck. another model again. very confusing when check model.

GBH2-26RE is having 2 function of drilling; normal drilling & hammering drilling, as for GBH2-26DRE it got extra function of chiselling mostly for minor wall chiselling work only.

total illiterate abt the stuff.. imagine tis.. i omoss get an impact drill.. but after reading tis thread.. i learnt abt rotary hammer.. (didn't know such tings exist.. lol)

Went to get SKIL 1715 today for RM 289 with free SDS+ 6 bits set at CT Hardware Sdn Bhd at Sea Park today

I also notice Bosch GBH 2-26 DRE RM 599 free SDS+ bits kit and hole, GBH 2-20 DRE RM 499 with free gift

guys, i got a problem here and i dont think this is the place. but i try my luck if you guys facing same problem like mine. i got one rusty lock and cannot unlock using key. i already spray with WD-40. alot! still cannot go.
any ideas guys? i already think to buy grinder/cutter to cut, but afraid cannot cut through. my lock is local rm20. not abloy

Got myself Skil 1715 Rotary Hammer Drill (RM255) & Cordless Drill/Driver 2212 (RM175) for my house DIY jobs. Nice tools I would say... For sure, can't compared with Bosch or Makita but it's much better then Black & Decker as I used before.
