This makita coffee maker are very common design in US.

I use before in those US motel. I thought there is a pump in the coffee maker.

What best of this makita coffee maker is it can use the 18v powertools battery.

Wonder 1 day will the makita come out a smartphone. 🙄
*
Using their 18v 4AH battery? The size and weight...
Probably will be indestructible like Nokia 3310.

pls share with us ya if there is anything worth to buy....might be going over on sunday ( depends on your feedback also  biggrin.gif  )

just recently got the solo unit of Bosch GST 18V Cordless Jigsaw shipped for RM567. Maybe can use this as a benchmark pricing against the coming Bosch sales pricing?
*
Well, I am aiming for

Cordless 18V circular saw
Cordless 18V 3 mode rotary hammer
cordless 18V grinder or the 10.8V one?

Maybe
belt sander

Amazon sale price is good but with USD now at 4.5 not worth the hassle anymore.

That miter chop saw look small ? What size is that?
*
10 inch miter saw. I choose 10 inch so the blade can interchange with my table saw, if required.
This one does not have slide function so it is smaller.
Bosch GCM10 MX. Comes with 100T multi material saw blade. Can cut aluminum and PVC pipe I think.

I mod the dust port a bit so it can connect to my vacuum for dust collection, also saves lots of space behind the miter saw.
The dust bag not really that effective, makes whole room full of dust when cutting.

With included dust bag.

Mod to connect to my vacuum unsing L pipe join. Free up space behind the saw.
Very little dust escape into air when using vacuum.

Today I use the 10.8v grinder to cut some metal bar.
Cuts much faster than my dremel.
Its also quieter than the dremel when spinning, generate much more sprarks than dremel when cutting.

Sure quiet la. Since the rpm is lower.

How long that 10.8v battery can run?
*
I started with a fully charged battery, after cutting 4 stick, still 3 bar.

I have not used it heavy enough to know. sweat.gif

I have tool envy going into this thread. Damn you guys are hardcore.
Any suggestion for a work table for woodworking? Skil? Bosch?
*
Everyone's situation is different and require different solution. Also depends on what type of projects you plan to do.

If you have a permanent place then build a workbench.
If you don't have permanent space then build a foldable workbench for easy storage.
The internet has all kinds of info to give you ideas.

If you have the money, see those pre made workbench from wolfcraft, black and decker.
In Malaysia I dont think I've seen Bosch workbench.

http://www.mypowertools.com.my/search.html?keyword=workbench

There are some cheaper workbench that is about rm100 but dont put too high hope on the quality.
Usable as a startup and occational use.

*you need a workbench to build another workbench* tongue.gif

Exactly! I need a workbench to build a workbench!  ranting.gif
Not doing anything big, just need something modular for small scale woodworking. Building shelves and stuff. Looking through the ideas here, a lot of interesting ones. My back is tired from working on the floor.

CT hardware selling accubit workbench for about rm100++.
This is how is started by first workbench, if you read my posting history. tongue.gif

wa... you guys are pro.
Here I feel so good dismantle and plane pallet wood while you guys are already in the stage of milling raw lumber.

That day bought the planer during Bosch warehouse sale without knowing what I will use it for.
Now I discover the size of the planer just nice to cleanup the dirty pallet wood I dismantle from pallets. rclxms.gif

I'm eyeing the Skil bench, but it does seem a bit small. Never used one before, so don't know if my perception is right. Mainly aiming for minor woodworking, will a bench around 22" x 26" suffice? Being honest, I don't really know how to use one haha
*
For small project that 1 bench will be enough.
Another way is you can buy 2 benches so you lay a plywood between them when you need much larger work area.

I have an old wooden door that I kept, perhaps it could be repurposed into a work bench. Will try making some legs for it with the small work bench, would suffice I feel.
*
Its good enough to start already.
My work bench is just a 1 inch thick plywood. biggrin.gif
