Yes, is part of the TV cabinet. No need worry cables running here and there. And the middle covered cabinet is where all my sockets and plus.

Complete set (drill + water pump) with 32, 63, 83, 102, 120, 168, 180 diamond core drill bit plus shipping about RM 900.

From the lelong here: There is a similar core drill by Skil
http://www.lelong.com.my/skil-2800w-200mm-...4-08-Sale-P.htm but this one is better as it is 2800w + 200mm diameter. Mine only 2200w max 180mm, but with lots of bits included smile.gif

Hi Bro,

I was just wondering how was your experience with your China purchased Core Drill?

What was the China Brand that you purchased ? do you have a link for that seller?

How was the Performance of the Core drills ?

where you core drilling soft brick and sand&cement or core drilling hard concrete?

I'm thinking about buying a Core Drill Machine causue I've got several 3" & 4" x 300-400mm Deep holes to drill through concrete Beams and concrete floor. For 1 or 2 holes I would normally just use the method of drilling many Dia16mm holes with Rotary Hammer in a circular pattern to make a Dia4" hole. But since I've got so many large holes & deep holes to drill its worth me buying/renting a core drill.

But I can't find anyone renting this core drill in KL area. Avd the Kl price for core drill Machine start at minimum RM2,800 + Core Drills.

So I'm thinking about follow your example and import from china.

Cheers

Is it cheaper if you just ask the contractor to do it for you? Instead or renting and buying the drill.

Yeah, it could be cheaper if I can find a good contractor that has that core drill. But many contractors don't have a core drill machine, they just use Orang-Bangla Machine to operate normal rotary hammer machine to drill several holes in a circle. But I don't want that method as the holes are through an important beams and the many-small-holes method leaves lots of potential stress concentration points, which could be failure mode for the beam.

Its not a complete waste if I buy the machine, I have a mechanical engineering business and ocassionally we have need to core drill through a wall of floor as part of an equipment installation. In the past we just exclude that from our scope of work and the customer has to find a contractor to do the core drilling.

Cheers

Hi,

I'm planning to buy a Bosch Cordless Impact Driver GDR 1440-LI. I'm not sure if its a good tool to have around the house for basic DIY like assembling furniture, loosening and tightening screws and drilling holes in wood, concrete and bricks.

I chose this power tool cause of its high torque and low price. Is this a wise choice?

Any advice?

Erm... I dunno.

Which one can screw and drill into wood and concrete? Also for basic loosening and tightening screw.

Important thing is can screw/drill into concrete. Planning to put up some shelves.

Edit: Ok, I found the GDR 1440-LI @ RM430.00, cheapest so far.
