I think it's more easier for u 2 buy a rounded IDE cable than u sleeve it urself coz if u didn't dismantle those IDE connectors correctly will end up u spoiled ur cheapo IDE cable brows.gif brows.gif brows.gif

i attempt before..... but end up fail...... better buy those rounded ide cable..... but still they wont have the same texture as sleeve

Upgrade to SATA!

I tried splicing the cable myself before. Didn't work out and ended up spoiling the cable. Its not easy unless you've got rock steady hands.

get urself a striking paper/sticker..make sure the color is uv reactive one..
then u wrap it on ur ide cable.
im sure it will be nice under the uv light..

how that sound? smile.gif

u have to seperate the cables... like 3-4 parts.... ir will be easier for you to wrap it round

actually by stating striking paper, i mean flourescent paper..
just buy a sticker and then wrap it on ur ide cable..see how it can be done..

you can never sleeve IDE unless you cut off the header and resolder all of them together....and it's really mad to do so laugh.gif

i tried b4..managed to make it..i use vantec sleeve kit,the largest size and the ide cable cut to 4 by 4 strap

why don't you try folding them?.. you still won't be able to sleeve them but at least they'll be neater..
