If your annual salary has fulfilled their requirements, I don't see the reason why they will reject your card. Unless, you are not a good debt payer.

Well, just prepare 3 months latest payslip and go to KLCC or 1U card centre to apply, if nothing happens you will get in 1 hour.

Can go anywhere, since the system is supposedly synced. Still, the easiest way is you can call to their customer service. I hardly walk into any bank these days, call CS or check out through online.

Yes, of course you will need to apply through branch. I think you can submit through fax or email?
If they call you to offer you, then you don't need any documents. The drawback is the waiting time, I went through before.

For the dual card, they not even care your annual income fulfil their requirement or not. What they want is their sales increase only.

I got 2 cases for reference including myself

Case.1 : My friend annual income didn't fulfil the requirement but they allow him to apply during Maybank treats fair then after 1 hour get the card already.

Case 2 : Me myself also didn't fulfil the requirement but I apply from branch. The person in charge ask me 1 question only and straight away settle everything within 5 minutes.

Person A : Where is your salary credited to?
Me : Maybank
Person A : That's easy, no need any pay slip, straight away can apply
Me : 0.0
Person A : Just sign here and its done

After 1 week, I get the card.

So easy !!!

if their income is over 2k and CL assigned to them is less than their 2X of their income, it is nothing wrong here

Give me confidence. I myself didn't fulfill the requirement. Maybank staff told me can try to apply. But up till now no free time to go to branch to apply yet.

I want higher CL only... About 3x my income but knowing Maybank is "stingy", I guess I gotta live with it.

Its wrong already,

1st : The requirement stated must be above 30k annual
2nd: Ya, the salary is above 2k but the CL is already 2.5x from the income already.

Conclusion : Bank loosen their policy and consumer over spent, then bank are very happy sucking the interest ^^

If everyone have discipline like you then surely nice, but too sad I had seen lots of people getting credit card so easily but end up not afford to pay back then INTEREST become their best pal already ^^

You can send in your application form by fax. I applied mine back in January by faxing in my application form + supporting documents + a photocopy of MyKad.

Not necessary, you can walk into any celcom centres and sign up for autodebit with the AMEX. Same for Maxis.

DiGi, even if you go to their centres, still have to call CS inside their centres to sign up for auto debit over the phone for any credit cards including AMEX.

been trying to apply for this card(s), twice. once at branch n another at 1u roadshow. both oso same case received letter says that cant help me at the moment. mmm, my mthly salary is well above 2k with no debt or loan. dunno wat im doing wrong tho.
