QUOTE(lotus_man @ Oct 25 2011, 03:19 PM) hi guys, 2 months payslip is better. but then, not sure u can get upgrade. coz upgrade is usually offer by bank.i recently got a salary increment bringing my total salary to >5000. It started this month. Wondering if I can upgrade to platinum by showing this month's payslip or I hav to show 3 months payslip? 1 way is u can apply for plat card. need to pay for another gst. do note that the cashback is shared. still rm50, not rm100. once got plat, u can cancel ur gold ~ why upgrade? me myself not using any plat features at all |

depends on bank. but not sure for maybank.
coz 2 years ago my hsbc gold and da gold (now both plat already, free upgrade) have higher cl than my maybank plat ~ this time is normal plat, not maybankard 2 plat, and maybank only give me not even 2x salary. but nvm about cl coz that time the normal plat is not so much benefit add maybankard 2 plat, the cl is still same, share with my 'old' plat. |

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Oct 26 2011, 10:18 AM) Yah, big hassle for me since I have 8 accounts with them which also makes the statement hard to read. For supp cards yes, pay with maybank2u lah. easy ~Somehow MBB Cheque Deposit Machine is not so friendly compared to other banks' machine e.g. CIMB can key in up to 5 different account for a single cheque. No MBB won't adjust the payment automatically for Principal Accounts. Recently I accidentally paid to the wrong account (as I said, damn confusing MBB Paper Statement having 8 accounts incl 4 supps) and after 2 days had to call CS to manuallt transfer the funds to the correct account. go fast cash deposit money into maybank acc. then choose each card, click Pay Now at Statement balance |

QUOTE(kurtkantoi @ Oct 27 2011, 03:39 PM) I always pump my motorcycle petrol using Amex. Its the best credit card so far. The only drawback is the credit limit is too low (2k). This due to sharing the limit with Visa Al-Ikhwan that I have bigger limit. But I cant stop Al-Ikhwan since I have installment with courts and onking for another 1 year and half. Do I need to wait for 1 year before ask for credit limit increament or wait for their offer? if i'm not mistaken, maybank ikhwan islamic and maybank is consider as different bank. so the cl is not shared. correct me if i'm wrong btw u can ask for cl increase using this form - http://www.maybank2u.com.my/WebBank/inclimit_100210.pdf |

QUOTE(TongCN @ Oct 27 2011, 10:04 PM) Good to hear. So I will just have to try my luck whether they allow me to overlimit it? u can, actually, pay before due date, to increase ur cl back. But I always pay full amount of the CC Statement on due date Or will they call me before reject? u can even swipe rm3k, then open m2u via smartphone/laptop/tablet, and pay immediately the money Added on October 28, 2011, 1:12 am QUOTE(WintersuN @ Oct 27 2011, 10:17 PM) wanna ask if the treat points is worth 2 use? wat can exchange wif the treat points? if u concentrate on petrol only, then yes go for uob.cos i think if not so worth then i wont get the maybank card la since need use amex and on weekend only worth for the petrol better get uob always got 5% while for amex, ANYTHING on weekend will get 5%, not just petrol, plus the 5x points. me myself, i usually redeem on-the-spot for better rates, and redeem dining + shopping voucher (nandos, kenny, kfc/pizza, carrefour, parkson, sogo) ~ This post has been edited by erry-: Oct 28 2011, 01:12 AM |

QUOTE(ubuntu @ Oct 31 2011, 01:17 AM) Guys, I had performed a future credit cards payment via M2U, but the status shown is accepted, is it normal? dont worry I notice that it was deducted from my saving account, but the credit card's bill is not updated. Also, there is no "print" receipt button in the M2U transaction history... usually it will takes up to 3-5 days to have the payment recorded in history transaction. as long as ur payment is not later than due date, then all will be ok |

QUOTE(ubuntu @ Oct 31 2011, 12:27 PM) welcome. i dont have citi or ocbc so no idea.(even i have hsbc but dont have their onl svc. just pay at cdm and wait for next statement) QUOTE(charymsylyn @ Oct 31 2011, 09:14 PM) M2U CC future payments are done in the afternoon/evening of the date selected (assuming there is enough to cover the payment). When done, payment will show up immediately under Savings & Current accounts (recent transactions). Credit cards (transaction history) will only update the next day as the system is updated after midnight. my payment appears at credit card's history transaction usually after 3 days. but the posting date then will be same as transaction date. hahaAdded on November 1, 2011, 3:38 pm QUOTE(David83 @ Nov 1 2011, 12:22 AM) But you cannot avoid it since we have limited choices for low cost airlines. lazy to copy paste from other thread:If you want to avoid the convenience fee, then use Fund Transfer method direct from your saving/current account. buy flights using m2u, then add-on with amex to get 5x points and no fee - details here This post has been edited by erry-: Nov 1 2011, 03:38 PM |
