Last time CIMB Bank debit card cannot be used for any online transaction. However, this has changed. So it's worth a try to see if one can link his/her CIMB Bank debit card to Paypal now.


Public Bank Day2Day VISA debit card, Public Bank VISA Electron etc. You can get PBB D2D VISA debit card right away at any PBB branch.

Refer to your card statement online and find for the code. Once u entered the code to verify your card then they will refund you the money they charged

how long will maybank take to update the debit card history? because it says 'no transaction' at debit card history but when i go to the today transactions, they show that paypal charged rm10 but not any info there. thanks

Hi guys,today when I went to ATM and wanna withdraw money,it says that I only have RM4 balance!I'm sure I didn't order anything or make transaction in last few days,then I check my transaction history,it shows that "Pre auth debit",any idea why its taking my money?thanks

I use my Maybank debit to pump petrol at petron station. 1st time i slot in my car then got error so i try again and it's work.

After that i check my transaction history got 2x pre-auth debt . Mean RM200 X 2.

5/5/13 . I check again, only 1 pre-auth debt was refund to me and charge the exact amount that i pump but until today i havent received my refund for the error pre-auth debt.

Should i call the bank or wait for longer time?

If I Not Mistaken that, The bank can Hold Your Pre-Authorization Amount Up to 20 Working Days before they can Refund You (have Experience before)...
