Yesterday, did my maybank dc (expiry 07/22) replacement via replacement kiosk. super smooth and fast.

my linked-SA didnt have money (balance RM1.00), still able to do.    i guess no fee if using kiosk.

downside: need the verify thumbprint (from mykad). dc/mykad owner must do their own, since you cannot "borrow" their thumbs.

For Maybank Debit Card, is it possible to renew it if the expiry date is like 3 months + away?

Living in oversea now and seldom come back to Malaysia and plan to renew first and get new card.

If possible, can I get new card the same day I go to the branch or need to wait days/weeks for them to delivery the new debit card?

Debit Card Replacement via Maybank2u website

Dear Valued Cardmembers,

We are pleased to inform that replacement of the Maybank Debit Cards may now be applied via Maybank2u. A RM12 fee will automatically be deducted from the Current or Savings Account that is linked to the card once the replacement is successful. However, we will refund the RM12 fee within seven (7) working days. The new Maybank Debit Card will be delivered within nine (9) working days to address within Malaysia and thirty (30) working days for overseas, from the date of application.

Just a quick question, replacing (or rather renewing) Maybank Debit Card via m2u has to pay RM12 nominal fee? Refer to no. 6 in T&C..

I thought no payment is charged for debit card replacement? Just like my other banks' debit cards... Anyone can confirm?

Mine is expiring soon, is it necessary to renew since I do not use it but it comes with the SA but no choice only...

Thanks for sharing! However, when I tried to renew/replace my debit card via m2u, there is this T&C which I included in my earlier post, it did not mention RM12 will be refunded. So safe to proceed ya? Just don't understand why the T&C is different from the one you shared or why it isn't mentioned will be refunded...
