QUOTE(SkyHermit @ Jun 28 2019, 01:00 PM) But saving and current account exists in the same debit card right. Or is it 2 different seperate card? Don't confuse, it is a ATM+debit 2-in-1 card. ATM+Debit card is not a stand-alone product. it is just a tool to access your bank accounts, including current Account, savings accounts, credit card accounts and loan accounts. ie 1 card for all accounts with the bank. You should have a Savings or Current account first, then the bank will give you a ATM+Debit card for you to withdraw cash at ATM and it can be extended to Retail or online or overseas transactions (some transactions are not allowed by default unless you request to unlock especially Online or Overseas transactions). QUOTE(tonytyk @ Jul 2 2019, 10:24 PM) Mind to clarify whether payment by pbb jompay using PBB debit card can get cash back? Any advice whether the listed counters accept payment by debit card? QUOTE(beLIEve @ Jul 2 2019, 11:02 PM) Public Bank normally has a clause that excludes all transactions done via PBe Bank. unless you can find another bank that accepts cards from a third party bank. I think I saw some options to add cards in Maybank2u, but haven't explore it. Both the question and answer are a bit funny. Debit card is not a stand-alone product, not like a credit card (account). A debit card is linked to CA/SA. FYI, you can only use a bank account such as CA/SA (or credit card account for some payees only) to do Jompay, so Jompay transaction is not related to Debit card (which is not a bank account). How to Jompay using a Debit card? Read post #4000.

QUOTE(siawyent @ Jul 16 2019, 03:03 PM) then have to pay for assessment bills only. are they willing split the assessment bills into RM30 transactions? I don't think the system will allow it. I used Jompay to pay MBKS assessment bill partially, then I received a "love letter" and another assessment bill (with adjusted amount) from MBKS. Better not to do it again!

QUOTE(skty @ Aug 1 2019, 01:38 PM) hahahaha. share share that letter content. btw, MBSA and MPKJ allow e-payment using debit/credit card in their respective website. so if we pay at their website, consider qualify for government MCC for the RM10 rebate? Just asking if there is anyone that has such experience on this. thanks. QUOTE(jefftan4888 @ Aug 1 2019, 01:43 PM) 9 entries for RM30 government related transactions [attachmentid=10294318] [attachmentid=10294319] All the local governments create their systems differently, so workable for MPSJ/MBSA/MPKj bills/accounts doesn't mean other assessment bills can be paid in the same way. Eg Most of the assessment bills I have are due in May/October, not February/August. This post has been edited by ClarenceT: Aug 1 2019, 01:53 PM

QUOTE(jefftan4888 @ Aug 1 2019, 03:02 PM) During May 19, I believe not many people participating in this campaign. My payment to Pejabat Tanah Alor Setar on 21 May got CB. No need to be beginning of May. I was quite surprised too. I got CB for payment to JPJ on 26/5/19. I assumed a lot of people would use to card to pay Income Tax - 99/2018 which was due on 15/5/19 but I over-estimated. And, I feel that a lot of people are now quite reluctant to use debit cards to spend, maybe they run out of cash and rely on credit cards. This post has been edited by ClarenceT: Aug 1 2019, 03:20 PM

QUOTE(alvinfks78 @ Aug 1 2019, 04:12 PM) tell themlah my debit card no enough money try Rm30 first. heheehe So easy to deal with Govt servant? Imagine you want to pay RM90 road tax, either you pay RM90 in 1 swipe or pay cash! And their card machine is linked to their PC, so the officer cannot change the amount. QUOTE(JuneResources @ Aug 19 2019, 11:06 AM) Hmm.. But mine one is "MISC CR", what is that? Is it the same thing of Govt transactions? You can't see the Campaign description/code at the ledger. You only know PB gave you a Miscellaneous Credit of RM XX.XX.
