Don't confuse, it is a ATM+debit 2-in-1 card. ATM+Debit card is not a stand-alone product.
it is just a tool to access your bank accounts, including current Account, savings accounts, credit card accounts and loan accounts. ie 1 card for all accounts with the bank.

You should have a Savings or Current account first, then the bank will give you a ATM+Debit card for you to withdraw cash at ATM and it can be extended to Retail or online or overseas transactions (some transactions are not allowed by default unless you request to unlock especially Online or Overseas transactions).

I used 2 debit cards on 1/5/19.

Yes RM50 credited. Waiting for the last one.

For my case, all offline now as online is not available.
Yes you can use ONLINE mode, I used Online before (Note: MCC had been changed to a non-govt, so I cannot use Online now)

Both the question and answer are a bit funny.

Debit card is not a stand-alone product, not like a credit card (account).
A debit card is linked to CA/SA. FYI, you can only use a bank account such as CA/SA (or credit card account for some payees only) to do Jompay, so Jompay transaction is not related to Debit card (which is not a bank account).

Electricity and water bills - not possible to use Govt-MCC card machines at UTC Kuching.

I don't think the system will allow it.
I used Jompay to pay MBKS assessment bill partially, then I received a "love letter" and another assessment bill (with adjusted amount) from MBKS. Better not to do it again!

I experienced before but it should be ok after 12:30am.

I don't dare to do it again. I received a nasty letter from the council.

All the local governments create their systems differently, so workable for MPSJ/MBSA/MPKj bills/accounts doesn't mean other assessment bills can be paid in the same way.

Eg Most of the assessment bills I have are due in May/October, not February/August.

I was quite surprised too. I got CB for payment to JPJ on 26/5/19.
I assumed a lot of people would use to card to pay Income Tax - 99/2018 which was due on 15/5/19 but I over-estimated.

And, I feel that a lot of people are now quite reluctant to use debit cards to spend, maybe they run out of cash and rely on credit cards.

So easy to deal with Govt servant?
Imagine you want to pay RM90 road tax, either you pay RM90 in 1 swipe or pay cash!
And their card machine is linked to their PC, so the officer cannot change the amount.

The outlets accept MyDebit or Unionpay.

You can't see the Campaign description/code at the ledger.
You only know PB gave you a Miscellaneous Credit of RM XX.XX.
