the output from both the motorola and htc is almost the same.. heck, the htc should charge your phone faster as it gives out bigger amps.. my ori charger from SiS also same output value (5V 1A)..

do u have the SiS hologram sticker on your charger?

My HTC Charger just have a hologram sticker written "INTECH", no Sis hologram sticker. But the seller claim it is a original Htc charger.

your charger is AP, your battery is sis? how bout your device?? got any sis warranty sticker?

your charger is AP... it is a known scam by shops to swap original chargers and/or batteries with AP ones and offer lower price than others...

as from what i've heard, the recent update is to prepare our baseband and drivers for the internet tethering.. like how HTC sent us an update preparing for Mango...

u should've checked everything before accepting... but u could try going back to the shop and demand for a charger which has a SiS hologram and wait for their response..

u are right on the slower charge will prolong a battery life, but how sure are u that the AP charger is giving u a stable output current as intended by HTC?

yeah, but still bro.. his firmware is 2250.09.12803.707.. my firmware before the latest update was 2250.21.40600.728 and now 2250.21.50001.728... the internet tethering enabled firmware is 2250.21.51001.707/728

707 = Taiwan Region
728 = Malaysia/Singapore

don't worry, our telco would definitely just enable it... as most of our phones here are not carrier-locked...

are you update your mango from 7661 (ISV beta)? your phone are able to sideload right? just sideload the U2M7720 to your device and PM me. i will guide you from there to make ya device update the HTC driver.

Please do not confuse the WIFI tethering on HTC device. currently only Mozart user at India have the HTC driver update which make Wifi Tethering working on the official ROM. what evilpuppy posted on HD7 thread is a method of flashing a Custome ROM which have the ability of wifi tethering.

No FB update. Maybe due to time zone difference...
