Okay. Will look into it. Also, for 800va ups, how much can I power, what is the calculations?

Let's say I have a 32a car battery with a 800va inverter? How much power do I have?
*
The capacity is limited to the 800va inverter. That is about kva=(VxI)/1000 = 650W.

Your thing only able to last few minute before shut down. Given the battery only able to draw 30% from 32a.

Well, I have 2 ups and 2 32A batteries means I can use 2x650w a day? Does this mean I can power 20pcs of 10w led lights for 6 hours a day?

650w is what the ups can produce. It measure in W(watt)

How long it can produce continuously is depend on the battery capacity. It measure in whr(Watt hour).

20pcs of 10w led run for 6hr require (20x10w)x6hr = 1200whr.

20x10w=200w is well below the inverter 650w. So there is no problem for the inverter supply to the LED.

But running for 6hr=1200whr, require 2760whr of battery or 230Ahr battery. If you use 32Ahr battery, 230whr / 32Ahr = 8set of 32Ahr battery. It is calculate assume discharge till 50%. Which is consider bad for a car battery.

Wow, thanks for the numbers. I can do my calculations accordingly.

Any suggestions for a 50w solar panel usage? What essentials to run during the day or night?

You already use for charging your gadget right? So what you want to add in?

1st you need to know, how much whr can your 50w panel produce in 1day. From there, you can know sufficient for what to use. Get a watt meter to check.

I haven't Coat my Panel with Nano coating. Will do in few months time see the result. It is Anti Fouling nano Coating that can prevent dust, Particle, rain drop sticking from the glass panels

Just imagine if you Car Windscreen not been clean for months (Blur view) hence Panel should have effect same effect. Cooling the Panel also to 25C also can maximise the Yield.

Looks like you will be able to get ROI after 7 years, good investment, May I know what brand, spec of the panel and inverter you bought?

The electric car company Tesla has announced its entry into the energy market, unveiling a suite of low-cost solar batteries for homes, businesses and utilities, “the missing piece”, it said, in the transition to a sustainable energy world.

The batteries, which will retail at $3,500 in the US, were launched on Thursday at a Tesla facility in California by the company’s ambitious founder, Elon Musk, who heralded the technology as “a fundamental transformation [in] how energy is delivered across the earth”.

Wall-mounted, with a sleek design, the lithium-ion batteries are designed to capture and store up to 10kWh of energy from wind or solar panel. The reserves can be drawn on when sunlight is low, during grid outages, or at peak demand times, when electricity costs are highest.

The smallest “Powerwall” is 1.3m by 68cm, small enough to be hung inside a garage on or an outside wall. Up to eight batteries can be “stacked” in a home, Musk said, to applause from investors and journalists at the much-anticipated event.

Very tough to get 2kw installed. Even if they agree, youmay not like the price.

Hi all solar sifus,
According to the quota table available on SEDA website, does it mean that there will be no more FiT quota available for application until 2019?

Bro, KWTBB no longer 1%, it is now 1.6% if exceed 300units.
But for March, April and May, 2015, try to submit 301 units  in order to qualify for ICPT rebate.
Example:
300 units = you pay RM77
301 units = you pay RM71 (inclusive of KWTBB)
ICPT rebate 3 months only.

For those who don't understand what is KWTBB. It stand for Kumpulan Wang Tenaga Boleh Baharu.

I came across from Google dig back this last year posts back from graveyard.

I wonder if we below 300units, we no need to pay the 1.6% KWTBB?

No need. But you will not be entitle to 1.52 sen/kWh ICPT rebate until 30th June 2016
https://www.tnb.com.my/assets/news_and_high...22015-00075.pdf

ICPT rebate was 2.25 sen/kWh last year (2015) but gomen slashed it to 1.52sen this year.
