    My router and modem place at first floor. Wifi signal for First floor is good for both 2.4G and 5G. Ground floor is cover by 2.4G but 5G signal is not good at some area.
I plan to buy an access point to put at ground floor to cover up. Please recommend me an access point.
My current setup as below:

Miktrotik RB750G - Asus RT-AC55uhp (configure as access point)

I use lelong, and the seller is "Sublime", their price are good.

Been using Mikrotik CCR series in work (oversea) for past 1 year, 5 different office.

Gonna try setup for my apartment once I'm back to malaysia, need some sifu recommendation / guide on this depending on which ISP available in my area.

Paired with UniFi AP AC SHD along with it's switch PoE+, hahaha

To be frank, i did not try the functions which has on SHD.
If you have over 150 devices its gonna give problem. We used about 180-200 unit per room, having around 6 rooms maybe. 1 very weird issue, after sometime you might not able to connect on 2.4g signal... really have no clue what went wrong but restart solved the issue temporary.
why not... if it is cheap 

All. How's rb4011 compare to hexgr3? Thinking of upgrading - just making sure it's worth an upgrade or i just might stay with gr3

hAP AC as your main router? What speed is your UniFi? Afraid to say that the hAP AC routing performance is relatively weak.

Not a comprehensive test but it didn’t give me a very impression of the hAP AC. I’m currently using one as an AP only. WiFi also so-so lah. But then again Mikrotik’s WiFi is always just so-so only.

hAP AC2 will be good enough. It handles UniFi 800Mbps with room to spare. And TIME's internet doesn't use VLANs which means less CPU needed.

RB4011 for sure OK but 3x more expensive.

Any other alternatives? As I don’t need the WiFi. Or such a WiFi-less version doesn’t exist in this day and age.

Yea, this is what I know so far when setting up time, but i can't ping to google dns at all, even setting dns like I do when using maxis. I can go to a few website like idownloadblog.com but not the major site like Google or youtube. The dlink 882 doesn't give me this issue though.

Got 4G Huawei B818-263 router for Unifi Air. Use my hAP AC2 connect to it (via lan ether1) router mode.

Problem is, how to get the IPv6 from B818-263 advertise to hAP AC2 eh? Tried everything but no luck ah. Otak jammed already. Or need to set the hAP AC2 or B818-263 bridge mode?

I have a question about VLAN.  I know what a VLAN is, but I am not sure what purpose Mikrotik's implementation of 'Interface -> VLAN' is for.

For instance, if you put in a bridge and turn on VLAN filtering, you will filter VLAN.  If you go to "Switch->Ports" and perform VLAN configuration, you can manipulate packets.  This is filtering behaviour on ports.  You can also tag VLANs on per port basis.

What I don't understand is the purpose of 'Interface -> VLAN'.  To get Unifi working, you have to create VLAN 500 and assign it to the WAN port.  For HyppTV, create another 'Interface->VLAN' 600 and assign it to the same WAN port.  What purpose does this VLAN interface achieve? Is it to tag outgoing traffic to PPPoE?

P.S. It seems I may have answered my own question, I just need to confirmation.  Looks like the technique or recommendation on VLAN configuration changed with 6.41 firmware in December 2017?  Can someone confirm? Technically, I don't need to assign VLAN 500 and 600 on the ethernet port anymore?  Instead, I can have 1 bridge with VLAN filtering, passing VLAN500 and 600.

Assuming your WAN port is ether1:

- Add VLAN 500 to ether1.
- Add a PPPoE client on that VLAN500.

Does the PPPoE client managed to connect to the server?
