huh? sure u can sync with itunes. no problem at all. unless u have so many ehem2 app, so u need to figure out how to sync without deleting the 'apps'. btw, there are many software that can transfer movie, music, w/o itunes.

im using copytrans. but only sync music. any recommendation for gd and easy software

If you are not using semi-tethered then your phone will not boot up. If you are using semitethered then the phone will boot up with lost of cydia apps and safari. The app icon will be there but it can't be used.

Guys, I got a problem here, My iphone 3GS was disabled because of too many attempts on the lockscreen passcode. My niece took my phone and keep press...

I tried to go in to the directory and delete the key file but cannot, be it ifunbox or 91.

And now when i wanna restore also cannot, error 3194 keeps coming out.. all neccessary steps have been taken such as like gs.apple.com etc//

I heard before last time saying that if someone call u then u press the home button. It will bring you back to the main page. Disable the passcode lock. Not sure will help or not cos your phone is lock now....Good luck.

Can't sync with iTunes after jailbreak? This statement is not true.

I had mine jailbroken and daily sync with iTunes to update my notes, calender and etcs. I don't have any problem at all.

On the apps part, as long as it is genuine apps that purchased from iTunes it wont be any problem for installing or updating.

You did the right thing to restore. It is the only chance you had to retrieve your iPhone. Error 3194, hmm hmm hmm. My guess is on you trying to downgrade IOS rite? If yes, make sure you had the shsh saved before trying to do so. In other hand, error poped up due to restoring via iTunes then prolly your iTunes is not updated. Update your iTunes and re-click "restore.

If happens all the steps do no good then post your host file here for us to inspect.

Meaning Saurik server is otw receiving your shsh request. Sooner or later you will see " the device has shsh saved 4.1 etc etc."

Sorry to say there is no way to jailbreak 4s yet. To sim lock for iPod function, just insert a AT&T sim card and activate it via iTunes.

Aw man... guess i have to wait for the jailbreak to be available for the 4S. But is there anyway to break the sim lock so that i can use the local telco sim cards here?

That is not possible. What you do now is to own a AT&T sim card to activate it and use it as an iPod for the time being. Thats the best solution you have.

just got some tweak cannot running..

No jailbreak for 4s at the moment BUT the dev-team (musclenerd) has managed to dump the iPhone 4s bootrom so it's a matter of time before an UNLOCK will be out for the iPhone 4s (seems that the exploit only works for the 4s). So there is a path for unlock.

Just MAKE SURE you DO NOT update to 5.0.1, I believe all this exploit is in 5.0 (that's why the dev team is asking people not to upgrade to 5.0.1)

Be Patient and ye shall be rewarded.
