The blog is up and running .... as expected the 5 exploit that was found before iOS5 was released has been patched by Apple in the final version of iOS5 so it's looking like an untethered JB for 5.0/5.0.1 is months away.

Chronic-dev is now asking people to make changes to iTunes (and download their software) which will disable iTunes from sending your iPhone crash reports to Apple (which was how Apple managed to find the 5 exploits and closed it).

Looks like I won't be upgrading anytime soon.

A new jailbreak method Ac1dSn0w. Released couple of hours ago. It's meant for mac users only thou. Not much difference aside from redsn0w & snowbreeze.

I have jailbreaked my iphone 4 with greenpoison for version 4.2.1 and now I gotta restore it to factory setting to claim for warranty since the speaker is not functioning at times.

Can anyone throw a rope to me?

People with iPhones are always waiting. We wait for iPhone launch, wait for ios release, wait for jailbreak release. Never once stopped waiting since I got the iPhone 4.

Currently available for OS X only. Further is tethered JB still, not a good choice upgrading and jailbreaking your device now. Wait for perfect one will do good.

Ac1dSn0w has some illegal codes in it. Why bother when redsn0w, an established program from the dev-team works perfectly for both Windows/Mac system.
