Hi all.. Im newbie with iphone.. Recently i already buy iphone 3gs from maxis.. The version is 4.3.3... Now i already upgrade to version 5.0.. My question.. Can i jailbreak my iphone now?is it got jailbreak for ios5?or i have to downgrade to version 4.3.3?hope masters here can answer it.. Really want to jailbreak it..

You can jailbreak iOS 5 using redsnow BUT it is a tethered jb. After that you can change it to a semi-tethered jb. For now on iOS 5.01 cannot be jb-ed.

Think you should stick to 4.3.3 untethered jb.

It depends on personal preference. I am using IP4 with iOS 5 jb with redsnow. So far so good, can say I don't find any problems and iOS 5 is awesome. Just only the semi-tethered jb, but I see that iOS 5 improvements outweighs the troublesome boot up.

How should i do if want to stick to 4.3.3 untethered jb?i have to downgrade?

Nope.. Dev team give up on 4.3.5 untether as it longer serve the purpose. They concentrate on IOS 5

Actually it is not that difficult as you think. Tethered and untethered jb is the same way to do it. Here is a tutorial, all you need is 10 minutes at max to read http://www.iclarified.com/jailbreak/

give a try...if today can u r lucky..but normally apple will stop sign old version of ios if latest version already release...

Oh ok phew just a day early I upgrade to iOS 5 if not cannot jb . What about I download iOS 5 from a website then use "shift click restore", will it work even after apple has stop signing it?

generally will not work..unless u already jb ur ios 5 n have shsh save for ios 5..
