The tv comes together with those cables converter.
You should have them in the box.

Me! Waiting for replacement panel, otherwise top up RM1k for 60inch ST60, (sans 3D), which I am at the moment, disinclined to do.

I have the 50st50... They said this model is no longer available, and st60 comes in 60 inch, minimum. I bought extended warranty. They initially said 65st60 as that has 3D, but not the 60inch. I think I should call up again and ask again.

The not-so-smart Smart Viera LED TV. The only output I can see is the tiny "digital audio output" port. My old LCD tv used to have those red-white audio out put that I can channel it to my home theater. How should I output audio from this viera?

Sometime it's easier if you do list out your HT model so that people around here can see what's the connection option available and suggest. In this case, if your HT have the optical input, just get a fiber optic cable then it's settled..

You should check your HT first. If have optical just connect it if not connect using component cable. Then if your HT have HDMI more good can connect too.

Okay... My inlaw came for lunch today. She didn't notice that i change the tv, her statement which make my day.. " eh, dah nmpak plak gambar tv ni dari meja.." Huhu.. This is with balconys door wide open in the afternoon. So daytime viewing angle is good on the st50.. This comparing to my previous 47 lw5700.. So i dont know how fair is that.

I think my 50st50 have a little problem. When displaying vertical stripe object with an object moving across it, there seems like a judder around the moving object (the stripe is sticking to the object and try to move together). For those with hypptv can easily replicate this. Whenever got a fast scene moving, hit your volume remote button up or down, the displaying volume bar is noticeably shaking. Will somebody test to confirm either this is my faulty unit or just a standard behavior for plasma or my eyes is too picky.
