I feel sorry for this. I thought mine got warranty it should be the same to the rest as long it's from Sony Malaysia.

whoah...after reading 9 pages of this thread xba1 is really worth to be considered..anyway does anyone have any comparison between xba1 and meelectronics A151 and MDR ex510? seem that the pricing point is almost the same...

..is it a negative or postive kind of view?I plan to go to Jaben to test drive the unit but no times yet..I'm afraid that going there will ending up buying none of the listed...probably much expensive IEM..hahah

Just bought the XBA-1...with the pricing point I think it quite a value price BA IEM..but comparing it to the Woody 2 seem like heaven and earth...

tried XBA3 and XBA4~ really not bad... personally i like XBA4 more... but it's huge!

No moolah for XBA.

Enjoying my MDR-EX210 instead.

BTW for those that were discussing the warranty earlier, I've talked to the Sony Marketing people while picking up my set

Warranty (1 year) is given only for those items above RM300 in price. So XBA's 2-4 will have it but XBA1 wont:(

The XBA series are really good for the money.

The XBA-1s BA driver is quite decent in covering alot of the frequencies, and the XBA-2 is a breath of fresh air in the dual BA world thats now filled with TWFK drivers that are rather dry and bass-shy.

The XBA-4s I've used for awhile and sold it. Top end stuff. Very Ultrasone-like sound. Big powerful bass with stoic mids/vocals and sparkly, metallic tinged highs. Good for EDM music, or just about any other genres. Just.. yeah.. very big housing. The XBA-4SL has an annoying J cord which can be annoying. The iP version has the normal Y cords.

Also, the XBA series seems to have dropped its price, with Amazon US selling them for 220USD brand new. Which is what? 700ringgit?? MADNESS

Sony BA user here...just got it yesterday...first impression, worth every penny (sound wise)



Will be using it for daily commuting to work and sleep...

Bass department surely wont suit those who are MegaBass fans....but detail wise, my gawd!!

It was either MDR-310 or the XBA-1...but in the end went for the XBA...

nope..that is authenticity numbers which can be verified if u sms the number to Sony...

Nope, no misunderstanding....it does not have any warranty whatsoever, no 7-days 1-1 no nothing...only Bluetooh and Noise Cancelling headphone got warranty....I suspect due to electronics reason, but earphone is passive equipment so no warranty...
