QUOTE(praetorian @ Oct 25 2011, 07:26 PM)
Just want to point out nowadays there are many counterfeit things available in the world.....Nike, Adidas, Wilson,Babolat,Head rackets are have 'fakes' out there......if you see a Barricade shoe for RM150....there should be some alarm bells going off in your head....if a deal is too good to be true...it probably is.......like inv posted a while back a mudah link for Wilson K6.1 tour.......at  a whopping RM250.......I already had a 90% hunch that this deal is too good to be true......sometimes you can get lucky.....but most of the time you will get burnt.......

My advice is buy from a reputable shop, or people that have access to good deals...and don't want to spoil their reputations dealing in counterfeit merchandise, I am not against counterfeit merchandise....I am just against people 'declaring' their goods as authentic and asking for authentic price's......if you are selling counterfeit products...at least say I am selling 'XXXXXX' product you buy what you pay for, no returns or refunds ,sold as is...if the buyer accepts that...then should be no complaints......just my poor 0.02 cents :-(

wahhh, is it that hard to distinguish authentic and fake racquets? got a used Babolat APDC for rm250 off mudah a few weeks ago (popped the cap, looked authentic to me), nearly got an APDC from the same guy who's selling that K-Factor for rm250 (it seems that most of his racquets are rm250, which was kinda a telltale sign).

So it seems I shouldn't buy those tennis shoes from mudah (saw one at rm130, was interested for a while).

Although Agassi is no longer with Nike, his legacy continues.
Till now his famous AA inspired pattern still in the Ballistecs.

Unfortunately, Pete wasn't very marketable even thoughhe was such a fantastic player. Companies normally look for the likes of Johnny Macs and Andre's cause their personality attracts more attention. Similar to how nadal.. though really good doesn't get as many endorsements compared to maybe a lesser achiever like roddick.

I think generally US players would get the load of sponsorship as their market is huge. Same case as in China. Roj and Sharapova get big endorsements as they as well known in US.
I think if we have a Malaysian no. 1 sponsorship would be no where near Roddick as our local market is peanut.

I think d least marketable no. 1 shud b Lendl...he's like a machine, just play to win, fierce look, a comrade during cold war....
