Hello,
How much is your current BMI? The BMI does not necessarily influence your application. From my observation(not in SMA ), there is a lot of cadets and ratings joining are overweight. But this is not the majority, most of it are either in range or underweight. No worry bro.

If you go for this job :

50% you'll be gay
20% you'll be drug addict
20% you'll be gambling all days and be a stupid gambler in the future.
10% you'll get AIDS or HIV.

Why?
Once you arrive your destination, let's say : Dubai.
The agent at there will give you your salaries once you depart, and there'll be many whores at there waiting for you to satisfy yourself. And your money will be gone very fast.

Unless you know how to control yourself. (5% of all are capable of doing that ONLY)

mafaka doh.gif

you pull out that stats from your a$$? i met only 1 gay seafarer, none hiv+, few junkie but no stupid gamblers

Hi im am a matriculation student.
I am really interested to be a seafarer.
But,i want to apply (sains nautica dan pengangkutan maritim)in UMT(universiti malaysia terengganu).
So,i want to know, after i have completed my degree, how can i be a deck captain?
And is it possible for a woman captain?
Can anyone share their experiment when they take this degree from this uni?

Any help from you guys would be really helpful.

yes it is possible , as long you completed 1 year seatime as cadet onboard , then get your 3rd class coc from marine department ,
go onboard as 3rd or 2nd mate clock seatime as much as 12-36 months
register at alam for d1mc course, combine mate and master , 1 year course
get 2nd class from mardep , then sail again clock more seatimes bfore proceeding to marine department for
1st class coc ..
then you are officially captain,
yes it is possible

can you pass the eye sight test?
if you manage to pass that with medical checkup ,then you can try your luck..
if youre already an officer , having eye sight issue is normal , bt not during enrollment
