hello, i have a question here.
im currently on my final year (bachelor degree - marine engineering) and will b graduating around june this year.
studying in St. pete, Russia.
Problems are,
1)we've only been studying theory mostly and we're not provided with practical (due to their national security).

2)my current U are not registered under (Association for Engineering Education of Russia AEER) therefore not recognized by BEM.

kinda frustrating with all the problem since im gonna have a problem in getting a license to be a seafarer.
any ideas from sifus here??

I want to ask if ALAM is a good place to begin your career as a seafarer ?
There are 2 courses to chose for which is marine engineering and nautical engineering, what is the future perspective of this 2 courses in terms of job scope, salary, etc.... ?

There are two numbers on a seaman card, one is above the picture, another is below it. Which is the seaman identity no and which is the seaman registration no? Last time they always call this 200800001000 seaman card no.

Confused.

well , be confident when introducing yourself .
well for the written paper , basic physic , math and english question , make sure he do some revision .
for the interview , dont dig your own grave and be confident , its better him to memorise his script for introducing himself ..

GOODLUCK! to your brother ..

The top should be identity no and the bottom registration number.
