There is a free version also but for profiles you need paid version. Look around market for similar apps. Android got lots of apps to fill in your needs. Brightness this app cannot control la but sure got others that can do that.

Unmount then you can format. Cannot format when mounted.

You can flash sp1 then just fix permission in the script. I posted in the touch forum on how to do this.

Wipe what after flash? dalvik cache? Or you mean wipe system before flash?

Don't wipe system before flashing SP1. SP1 is not a rom just an update to the main rom. Afterwards your whole rom gone leh.

I still don't get you. Normal Procedure
1) Wipe system using CWM
2) Flash X-Power
3) Reboot
4) Flash SP1
5) Wipe dalvik cache
6) Reboot.
7) Change permission
8) Reboot

Yeah touch power is not a wipe rom. But i think it should be cos its KG5.

Right now i am using the OC daemon from the rom but u can use setcpu also. I am using OnDemand. It gives me the smoothness I need for my UI.

Papago should not open itself. Did you use it and not exit properly? Papago need to exit from the app. Cannot use back button.

Which version your using? Version 1.5 got 100mhz so you need to add additional setting to your undervolt script first before flashing kernel or sure hang. Batista uses ninpo right which have 7 levels. Siyah got 8 levels.

Added on September 20, 2011, 8:16 pmWhat were you doing when it hang? I recommend you flash siyah latest 1.5 kernel. He have put back ondemand as default governor. Previous version uses his smartass governor that utilizes the 100mhz which is unstable for some devices. Use the daemon controller to change governor also can.

If still happening u need to edit the undervolt script. It may be too low for your device.

Edit: If you want to use setcpu to control the cpu and UV (which is easier), remove the undervolt and ocdaemon script from init.d. and restart. But do not delete, just move them somewhere on your sd in case you need it later.

Dunno possible or not in CWM but you can do it from the setting>storage select unmount sd card then select format sd card.

Added on September 20, 2011, 8:30 pmHere is a useful info for everyone. When your phone hang, no need to pull battery. Long press the power button for more than 10 sec will off the device. Then just on back again. Similar to long pressing the power button on laptop.

Save you the hassle of removing cover, opening back cover and all those stuff.

Anyway you format either on pc or from the device will wipe eveything isn't it. What do you mean messing with app installed? If you got app or data on the external sd all will be wipe la. That's the definition of format.

What version of siyah kernel your using?

The one that come with sp1? Easy way, please delete your s98undervolt in init.d and restart.

Edit also use daemon controller and change your governor to on demand 500mhz to 1200mhz for awake.

Its because of smaberg and siyah kernel changing lots of things especially the UV and new governors. FYI I have not had any FC/hang except with siyah ondemandX governor that was buggy and have been removed.

Try and report back, I suspect the UV setting put by smaberg is too low. I use my own setting and have had no problem. Without this script your device is not undervolted. I recommend you use setcpu if u want to UV. Its easier and less chances of screwing things up especially if you like to try different kernels.

The oc daemon script will set it at 500 - 1200 smartassV2 when awake. That's smaberg setting. I am using ondemand.

Whatever you do, DO NOT use ondemandX. It is buggy and can cause your device to freeze.

For me its not so important. If you got lots of app running in background maybe. But for me i got nothing much running so when screen is off it will enter deep sleep mode. So whatever governor you use wont make a big difference.

Depends on the rom. If you got ocdaemon script or setcpu it will use it. If not then only use kernel default which is usually 200 - 1200 ondemand.

Change your cpu governor using daemon controller.
