I recommend you siyah kernel here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1263838
He is using all the goodness from all kernel into 1.  thumbup.gif Very nice and he enable android_logging in 1.4.
*
nice! rclxms.gif i'll go try that now. also reinstalled facebook, hope no more battery drain tonight.

edit: whats the difference between x-treme and x-power rom? x-power=better battery life than x-treme?

Yeah speedmod disable all logging for better batt life. These apps need i think android_logger to work. Look out for Siyah kernel 1.4. He is going to enable some of these logging for users that need these apps.

GG ytd. luckily i had backed up my EFS using hellcat tools as per suggested by uncle benny. the signal jz gone totally and shows "insert simcard" even though i had rebooted for more than 3 times. then try restore efs using hellcat, still no luck. freaks me out totally, i'm at mlk dat time doh.gif
then tried to restore the efs once again, and reboot. then oni everything backs to usual. strong recommendation to everyone out there who always flash roms: backup ur efs before its too late smile.gif

lucky you! what did u do that might have corrupted the phone imei?

As I saw your signature..you are using CF-Root KH3 Kernel..
Did you try Ninphetamine 2.1.3?  nod.gif
*
ninphetamine gives me auto reboot issues, i dont use speedmod or siyah kernel as i cant password protect my private apps on it, so i have no choice, but to use cfroot kernel... cry.gif

I have notice that when i installed Facebook application , i get notification from it when there's new messages coming in WITHOUT WIFI ON !!

I guess its because of the Mobile Network -> Packet Data and Roaming Data ..

But turning off Packet Data will result in turning off 3G/3.5G , right ??

Is there any way to solve this problem ??
-No data transfer from Facebook or any other application (Only when WIFI is On , then data transfer approve)
-3G/3.5G still activate ..
-MMS still activate
*
go to facebook, press back one time to go to 9 icons page, press menu>settings>at refresh interval click to select it to never and at notifications click it to select it to inactive

Its a good practice like wearing seatbelts when driving. If nothing happen ok, if you face complications you would have wish you have wipe before flashing. Cos then you have to flash all over again = double job.

Plus if you face complications you won't know if its rom problem or because you didn't wipe.
*
oh ok then got it. i'll switch to sensation rom now. but gotta wait for it to finish downloading, my internet is sorta slow.
i dont get it, my phone now has no wakelocks, yet battery is draining like crazy! from 96% to 93% in less than an hour wtf?
