a soundcard with virtual 7.1 with a stereo headset wont make any much difference
unless you are looking at razer's tiamat 7.1
but siberia's soundstage is wide and perfect for gaming
but nt audiophile purposes

I wonder if the USB soundcard for Siberia is worth getting, or am I even able to purchase one? Lol. I saw someone selling a 5Hv2 soundcard, is it the same?

means with or without the usb virtual 7.1, the sound quality of siberia v2 is almost the same?

for me its not such a big deal
but for pro gamer who wanted same audio everywhere then it is essential

provides virtual 7.1 surround sound

SteelSeries doesn't produced 5HV2 soundcard to sell seperately, so obviously buy with your own risk.

D2F-01F is better than D2FC-F-7N, but the stock switch in Xai and Ikari Optical is D2FC-F-7N, sadly. D2F-01F is the japan one, which is used in Kinzu RED.
can't find the 01F, but 7N is available in Amazon.

lol better don't go for fake ones. not only u didn't get the quality of sound u want, might damage ur headphone too (not sure if this will happen)

why get a fake one?
this isnt like nike or adidas
getting a fake one doesnt function the same

the fake ones are available at ALLIT not exactly fake, cause they don't have the SS logo..but the design is the same. But difference is pretty obvious cause the build looks so darn cheap and with typical made in china workmanship, sharp plastic edges..
