anytime u see the gay pound sign at 3, means it UK layout.
but thats not important.
the most irritating thing about UK layout is the \ is in-between shift and Z...which makes the shift key become half size.

usually this case all they produce limited quantities for mostly for UK / euro market first...until it starts selling then only US ones come.
i remember before saitek keyboards also same...few months later only got US keyboard layout.

ahh..I see but actually even the 6Gv2(MX Black), me no like cause the \ key is next to the right shift button, and everytime you want press the right shift button, confirm hit the wrong key. I like those BW kind of placement, instead of bloody big enter key, everything is occupying one row only, and the \ key is above the enter key.

It was introduced during DH, but no idea whether will hit worldwide market or not.

Oh btw, to 7H + usb sound card users out there(or anyone that familiar with the mic problem), whenever i talk on mic, it will produce some echo/static or reloop of your voice like you're in a cave, what are the main causes of it? Or could it be mic defect?

EDIT: currently found a solution over here @ Techspot by world crafter, but no time to test yet, keeping my finger cross.

Looks amazing except for those foreign keys... and that left shift is so tiny. FML. Ducky Shine looks better, only sad part is they dont have MX Red.

do remember they have different layout for different country.

Steelseries 7G older generation do have that specific layout if you look clearly on other region 7G keyboard.

Malaysia mostly will be using the normal layout.

just replacing the MX switch and adding color to the backplate only will increase a little minor manufacture cost for manufacturing the keyboard.

they will mostly be using back the same 6Gv2 keyboard with red color plate and cherry mx red switch, the only problem would be how much will the keyboard be.
layout will have no problem.

unless they decide to be an ass and using 1 specific layout only, which highly won't happen.

Hard to say, this happens to be specifically made for DreamHack at the moment, that's why the layout is catered for Europeans.

i doubt SS will ever come out with US layout kb, no more big ass enter to waste space

Sigh.... want the usual US ASCII layout with long enter , long backspace, long right shift... heck... all those which are supposed to be long!!!!!

all of their kbs is US layout except for this particular board laa. Like what Everdying pointed out, the significant difference is the \ key located next to Z, $ icon is changed to € instead..zzz

I know in other regions, 6Gv2(MX Black) backspace key is short, but the ones available here is long backspace with / key slotted next to right shift. But IINM, the 7G here is using shor backspace, the irony.

xai dont have the look factor LOL, and the imperator got new sensor.. but xai is not a bad choice eh?

well, xai is no longer the 300+ mouse. so if you can neglect the look factor, xai will do well if budget is not aiming for imperator. well, just a bit cheaper LOL

Imperator = ergonomic
Xai = non ergonomic
