Waahh.. from G-string to Full Monty overnight!! Thanks for the Super Committee No Deal situation. tongue.gif

Anyway, I was off last night. No trade for me except to continue to ride on my protective puts from the 1220 level from last week. Haven't let that go yet. Thank goodness! sweat.gif

Going to watch and see how far we can go down. Nasdaq and SP500 broke support at 50ma and Dow hanging just by only.

I'm watching AAPL closely.. this is going to a good opportunity here at 363-369 area!! drool.gif

Actually, not bad for LVS.. still holding the bottom of the range: 43/44~49/50 here.
43/44 is a buy area at tier 1. If 43/44 support fails, then 39/40 as next support.
43/44 is prior to their Q3 earning results so good area to get some and hold.

But, look at AAPL. Good support here 363-370.
I'm going to get some long calls here. wink.gif

Dow 11,493.72 -53.59 -0.46%
Nasdaq 2,521.28 -1.86 -0.07%
S&P500 1,188.04 -4.94 -0.41%

What's working:
AAPL 376.51 +7.50 +2.03%
LVS 44.24 +0.57 +1.31%

For AAPL, it should be ok. Everyone was waiting for that pivot at 200MA (363-365).
Today, should be good sign for the bulls to jump back in. Volume is decent.
Just make sure stop at 365 or slightly less for now or move up 5 pts trailing the current price.

All three major indexes are still technically bearish. But, looking at the advance/decline
and internals, there seems to be underlying bid to keep prices here and no major selloff.

Perhaps it is low volume week (US market off Thursday evening and half day on Friday).
SP500 (much broader than Dow) is at 1188, smacked right in the middle (50% retracement) from 1292 (oct 21 high).

I think we may will see some consolidation here for a week or so before any major move.

Just watch for it..if it drops, most likely between 368 and 370'ish (S1/S2 midpoint).
But, it will be buying opportunity if you see it dips below that 370.

If Dow drops 200 pts or more, then all bets are off.. 363 or lower could be in place.
I think unlikely tonight as volume is low. But, it is time to catch some bargain for US black friday shopping.

Anyway, another one that I like is CAT.
Short term trading range: 87-98 now.
Close to Tier 2 support level for a small buy here.

Good luck if anybody wants it!

Bearish below 1161 with 1142 & 1135 in sight.

The upside penetration of 1161 will call for a rebound towards 1168 & 1182.
Comment: the RSI calls for a new downleg.
Pivot: 1161
