Because its offer better GPU than Intel counterpart in budget less than RM1.9K, exception the latest Acer 4755G..
So far its Asus A43TA, Acer 5560G and Compaq G4. This post has been edited by lee_what2004: Sep 24 2011, 05:52 PM |

CPU wise... i5 smokes a6.... hd 3000 is intel's integrated graphics... radeon hd 6520g is amd'd integrated graphics BUT ... 6520g smokes hd3000.... since games emphasize on gpu.... in this situation.. Llano A6 wins.. XD.... und so far??? |

(i try to balance both in same price market la... )
Now... take in laptop A - i3 XXXXm+dedicated Geforce Gt 525m.... versus laptop B- AMD a6+integrated 6520g+dedicated 6470m.... .... (info may nt be correct... im just explaining) laptop A.... cpu wise.. also wins laptop B .. nt by a big margin.. but still wins... laptop B.. graphics wise.. wins laptop A... because.... it has ACF... asynchronous crossfire... means... it's integrated 6520g.. works with dedicates 6470m..... so. will still be stronger than gt525m... so.. gmaing wise.. laptop B wins too.... BUT .. huge BUT here.... since AMD's Llano thing is new.... it stil has lotsa bugs.. it's ACF works with some games and not with others... zzz. so.... XD....is ur choice/.. pls correrct me if im wrong sifus.. XD |

For a general idea how the Llano system performed you can check both links below, these are review from the user themself + some tweaking tips. The K53TA is similar to K43TA but DV6z is not available here. I think the stock CPU performance is comparable to the old Arrandale. Links: K53TA.. The best deal ever... could be! | dv6z-QE User Review |

1. Preferred Brand - Any
2. Budget - 2k 3. Usage - College assignments/researches, casual surfing, minimal photo conversions/editing, pretty serious gaming. (Crysis, Black Ops, L4D, you name it.) 4. Preferred laptop/screen size - >14, or any size that is comfortable for said usage. I got my eyes on the AMD Llano laptops, the Acer Aspire 5560G to be specific. Read a few reviews saying that it could suffer from "micro stuttering," since it utilizes 2 types of GPU. Llano laptops dependence on good drivers also concerns me, though it could improve as time goes by. Could anyone clarify whether this model has the AMD A8 or A6? From my findings it seems that newer models would have the A8 instead of the A6, which is a plus. But then, I stumbled upon the Acer Aspire 4755G, though it only has 2GB of RAM. Would it be enough for the laptop, or would it be able to utilize 4GB of RAM? Upgrading is always an option, though I fear it would go over the 2k range. The fact that the screen is smaller is a slight cons, but it has a USB 3.0 slot, which is always good. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Hi, my old 17" laptop, Dell Inspiron 9400 has screen resolution of 1920 x 1200. Other than Dell, which brand and model has similar resolution or higher? Looking for other brand with similar screen resolution.
