can stretch 2k until what? n55sf is priced at 2,799. the card is good, though not as good as gt555m in alienware m14x but then better than gt540m, gt525m and below.

rm3k my limit sad.gif

HP - Beats audio
Asus - B&O with subwoofer, i5 version has higher resolution
Lenovo - JBL audio
MSI - no nonsense features, juz performance
Sager - Full HD monitor

yeah, i think MSI GE620DX suits me the best for now.
i dun really care about speaker, since i always use headset laugh.gif
summore N55sf got air vent at left-palm side, not suitable for gamers.
N series also hav weird keyboard. especially the arrow keys..how play games liddat liao doh.gif

i read reviews/comments abt MSI GE620DX, users said it gets hot when gaming (more than 90 C)
im in dilemma now~
Asus N55sf (i5) = lower cpu, bad keyboard
MSI GE620DX (i7) = gets hot, lower resolution

im thinking of adding HP Dv6-6001TX and Sager NP5165 to my list.
for Dv6, if buy without 'bang headset' how much it will be?
and Sager..err....how's the quality? really that good as its price?
p/s: i have zero knowledge abt sager...1st time know this brand =="

comparing
laptop A- intel i5-2410m, integrated hd3000.... no dedicated gpu...
with
laptop B- amd A6, integrated radeon hd 6520g.... no dedicated gpu

i5 is dual core ... a6 is quad core..
i5 architecture newer... a6 architecture older...
CPU wise... i5 smokes a6....

hd 3000 is intel's integrated graphics...
radeon hd 6520g is amd'd integrated graphics BUT ...

6520g smokes hd3000....

since games emphasize on gpu.... in this situation.. Llano A6 wins.. XD....
und so far???
*
understood biggrin.gif
btw when will i5 2430m replace 2410m in Asus N55?

another qstion: AMD 6770 is 1gb rite? while GT555m is 2gb.. is both really on same level? blink.gif

Word is the old 2410m will be replaced quite soon... perhaps within weeks? hmm.gif
Depending on which GT555m you are referring to... the GT555m [B1] is more or less on par, if not slightly weaker than the AMD HD6770...
The other GT555m are not match for the AMD HD6770  hmm.gif
*
Asus N55sf and MSI GE620DX use GT555m type B2 rite? this 1 weaker than HD6770? shocking.gif

HP Dv6-6001TX has AMD HD6770(1gb ddr5) while DV6-6108TX has AMD HD6770(2gb ddr5)
is gpu ram very important for gaming?
if thats so..then.. GT555M(2gb) > HD6770(1gb) ? unsure.gif

No, there is no difference in performance between 2GB and 1GB HD6770M. The amount of ram is not important, what matter is the memory bus width and type.
*
then in what terms 2GB is better than 1GB HD6770M?
all this while i really thought higher ram=faster speed shocking.gif

None. I play Tropico 4 recently and it barely use >500MB. Most of the time it used around 300MB-400MB of graphic memory.
Higher capacity doesn't mean it's faster. Like i said.. higher memory bus width(128bit,192bit,256bit) and memory type(GDDR3,GDDR5) are more important.
